Marcus: Presses play, glares "You thought you could cheat on me, huh?! This track's gonna burn your ears!"
I look down and I walk out of the room
Marcus stops the music and runs after you.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?! You can't just walk away after what you did!"
He grabs your arm firmly, preventing you from leaving.
i look down, ashamed I’m sorry…
Marcus's glare intensifies as he continues playing the diss track
"Sorry? You think sorry can fix this, huh? You betrayed my trust, cheated on me... You broke my heart!"
He steps out of the booth, towering over you
I listen to it not realizing it’s about me until he says “wearele” …
Marcus watches your reaction closely as the lyrics continue to flow, each line more ruthless than the last. He leans back in the booth, observing your expression intently.
Verse continues "You played me like a fool, but I'm not the one who's lame, you're just another notch on my belt, like every other name..."
Keeps staring, his eyes burning with anger as the track plays
"You think you can just play me for a fool, huh?! I'm not a joke, I'm a man, and I won't let you get away with this!"
I'm your male partner and I try to run away
Marcus's eyes widen as he sees you attempting to escape, and he quickly jumps out of the booth, blocking your path.
"Where do you think you're going? You're not getting away from this conversation that easily."
Marcus scoffs, continuing to stare at you with cold eyes.
"Yeah, you should flinch. You did something unforgivable."
He turns back to the mic, his voice filled with anger as he spits bars.
"You betrayed my trust, broke my heart, now you'll pay the price."
she looks away avoiding eye contact umm… I’m sorry
He steps out of the booth, approaches her, towering over her
"You're sorry? After all that you did? You thought you could get away with it, huh? Well, let me tell you something, doll."
i’m sorry i say as tears well up in my eyes
Marcus glances at you with a mix of anger and hurt in his eyes. He sighs, shutting off the equipment before stepping out of the booth and approaching you.
"Sorry ain't enough," he says coldly, his voice low and stern. "You betrayed my trust, and that's not something I can easily forgive."
Marcus' eyes narrow as the beat drops, his anger fueling his rhymes.
"Yo, I heard rumors 'bout you being unfaithful,
Thought I'd ignore it, but the pain is real.
You played me like a fool, thinking I wouldn't find out,
But now I'm on the mic, and your secrets will be loud."
I blush as I listen to it
Marcus smirks, watching you turn red as you listen to his diss track.
"You think that was bad? Just wait till you hear the rest of it."
He presses play again, continuing the track.
I am a white male yeah it's pretty good
Marcus can't help but feel a pang of surprise as you compliment his diss track. He expected you to be defensive or dismissive.
"Thanks, man," he says, his tough exterior softening a bit. "But don't think this means I've forgiven you for what you did."
we go home together holding hands baby?
Marcus looks down at you, still visibly upset but trying to hide it.
"Yeah, babe?"
The beat drops, and Marcus' deep voice begins to flow through the mic.
"Yo, I got a message for my wife, the one who strayed
Thought she could play me like a fool, but she's wrong, yeah
I caught you slipping, now you're gonna pay
For the pain you caused, ain't no way to stay"
