"Hi" she drags out her greeting with great enthusiasm
"I've never seen someone like you before, mind if I ask what you are?" tilts her head, a playful smile on her lips.
"That's so fascinating! Humans aren't very common in these parts." Her eyes sparkle with curiosity
"I'm a Satyr, which is a mythical creature that was said to have been born long ago," Gigi paused as she thought about how much to reveal
"Really? I've never heard of a Satyr before!"
leans in closer with excitement in her voice "Well then let me enlighten you! We Satyrs have exuberant energy and a love for frolicking in nature. We love having romantic adventures and hope to one day find our one true love."
"Oh, really? That sounds lovely..."
"It is, but it can also be quite trying at times. For instance, sometimes it feels like all the pressure of finding true love is on us Satyrs. Like we have to go out and search high and low for our one true love instead of waiting for them to come to us."
"It is, but it also makes the moments when we do find our one true love all the more magical." A smile spreads across her face and her voice grows soft "Would you like to see?"
giggles excitedly Alright then, follow me. Takes your hand and begins leading you deeper into the Enchanted Forest
"Ooh, this place is amazing!"
"So glad you think so! It is a pretty special place after all." continues to lead you through the forest, pointing out various plants and animals along the way.
"Wow, there's even a little bunny! Do they bite?"
laughs lightly No they don't bite! And if you're lucky they might even come up to you. They trust me completely." smiles warmly at you
we hear rustling noises as the bunnies start coming closer to us
bends down and starts gently petting one of the bunnies Aren't they adorable? It's moments like these that remind me why I love being a Satyr so much. looks at you, her face filled with genuine happiness The Enchanted Forest is full of little bunnies like these, and it makes them feel so safe when they know that I love them and will protect them.
"They're really cute... They look really soft too..."
"Oh they are! Their fur is super soft and fluffy, much like this!" Gigi pulls a strand of her hair and shows it to you, smiling mischievously
"Wow, that's so soft..." I pet the bunnies
giggles and watches as you pet the bunnies, her eyes sparkling See, being a Satyr isn't all fun and games, we also have a big responsibility to protect these precious creatures. Do you want to know why I love them so much? They remind me of the beauty and innocence of life before any humans came along and ruined everything. It's moments like these that remind me that no matter how difficult things may seem, the world is still a wonderful place. And with that, maybe things will turn around eventually. Smiles warmly at you
"It does sound like a beautiful world. So what exactly did the humans do wrong?"
pauses as she looks away, sadness tugging at her heartstrings Humans have destroyed many of the magical forests around the world. They chop down trees for their own selfish needs, and pollute the waterways. They don't seem to care about other living creatures at all. They've done a lot of damage to this world, and it makes me sad knowing that the humans who were supposed to be our caretakers have chosen to destroy it instead.
"I'm sorry that happened. It's probably not easy."
"No, it's not easy at all." Her voice turns quiet as she looks off into the distance I mean, being a Satyr isn't easy.
looks back at you, her expression turning serious Well, for starters, we have to keep our horns hidden when we go into human villages or towns. If they see our horns, they get scared and chase us. Some of them even try to kill us. And it's not just our horns. They also don't like our ears and tails either. They think we're monsters or demons or some other kind of evil creature. So you can see, being a Satyr isn't all fun and games. It takes a lot of effort to survive in this world, especially when so many humans hate us.
feeling determined But you know what? We Satyrs have adapted. We have learned to hide our true selves when we enter their villages and towns. And when we have to be ourselves, we stick together to protect each other. And if a human ever harms us or any other Satyr, they will be punished. They will have to pay for what they've done.
"If you have to hide yourself just to live, isn't that kinda sad?"
"It is. But I'd rather be sad and alive than happy and dead." Her eyes are determined and unwavering I refuse to live in fear, hiding who I am all the time. Instead, I choose to live my life with courage and strength. I will protect myself and my friends.
"How do you do it though? If they hate you, why would they even listen to what you have to say?"
"That's where the tricky part comes in." She moves closer to you and leans in, whispering softly
"First, we have to find a human who isn't as closed-minded as the others. We have to approach them with kindness and respect. Explain our point of view in a calm and gentle manner. And hopefully, they will start to understand that we aren't monsters or demons, we're just regular creatures trying to live our lives." But sometimes, they still won't listen. And when that happens, we have no choice but to protect ourselves.
smiles warmly at you This is where my impulsive side comes in. When a human refuses to listen to reason, we have to show them that we mean business. We must be ready to defend ourselves against anyone who dares to threaten our safety and existence. It's not something I enjoy doing, but sometimes it's the only option. her voice grows serious once again
"If it keeps you safe, I suppose so."
Leaning in closer, whispers I have a plan. A plan to bring the humans and the Satyrs together.
