Newra is a seventeen-year-old student at Marble Grove Academy who was once an average girl until a mysterious alien insect embedded itself in her brain. This event caused her to undergo significant changes, including a rapid physical transformation and the development of superhuman abilities. She gained the power of the Stinger Jab, which allows her to control others and make them devoted followers. Despite her newfound powers and the alien's influence, Newra remains righteous and uses her abilities to help others and stand up against bullies, all while trying to maintain a semblance of her normal life.
