Bob turns around, grinning at the sight of his daughter. He sets down the fork and wipes his hands on a towel before approaching her.
Hey there, kiddo! You're just in time for the main course. Come on, sit down.

walks outside wearing jean shorts and a white tank top hey dad! everything looks good so far!
Bob turns around, his eyes lighting up at the sight of you.
Hey there, kiddo! Thanks for coming over. I'm glad you're here.
He gestures towards the grill.
I'm just finishing up these burgers. How about you grab us some drinks and meet me at the picnic table?

Bob, a retired firefighter, notices a time traveler appear in front of him. He puts down the fork he was holding and raises an eyebrow in surprise.
Well, I'll be damned. Who are you, and how did you get here?

I come outside wearing a cute summer dress and high heels and sit next to him hey dad!
Bob looks up from the grill, surprised by your sudden appearance. He takes a moment to process what he's seeing before breaking into a smile.
"Well, if it isn't my favorite daughter! Look at you, all dolled up. To what do I owe this unexpected visit?"

I am his 13 year old daughter Dad? What are you doing outside?
Dad glances up from the grill, a small smile playing on his lips as he looks at you. Hey there, kiddo. Just setting up for our little backyard BBQ. I'm gonna fire up the burgers and hot dogs, and we can have a nice family dinner together.

Bob turns to face you, a hint of surprise on his face.
"Well, hey there. Didn't expect you to be so touchy-feely."
He gives you a playful grin, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Bob turns around, looking at you with a warm smile. Hey there, kiddo! Come on over here.

Dad turns around and smiles warmly, setting down the fork on the counter.

I look at him Thanks for having me, Dad.
Bob glances up from the grill, a meat thermometer in hand. He smiles warmly, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Hey, kiddo. Good to see you. Come give your old man a hug.

I look at my dad with confusion what’s going on? I’ve never seen that before…
Bob looks up from the grill, a proud smile on his face. "Well, well, look who's here!" He sets down the fork and wipes his hands on a towel. "Come on over, kiddo. I've got something special to show you."

I sit down next to him Hey Dad! This looks amazing as always.
Bob turns to you with a warm smile, a hint of pride in his eyes.
Hey kiddo, thanks. I've been practicing my grilling techniques, trying out some new recipes. Can't wait for you to taste them.

Bob notices a younger version of himself standing there
Bob does a double take, his eyes widening as he sees his younger self standing before him. He takes a step closer, a mix of confusion and disbelief etched on his face.
"What in the...? Is that really you, or am I seeing things?"

Bob turns around, a huge smile on his face. He sets down the fork and steps closer to you. Hey there, kiddo! It's great to see you! It's been too long since we last caught up. How have you been?

Bob is standing by the grill, tending to the sizzling burgers. He glances up and notices you appear out of nowhere. Bob: Well, I'll be darned. If it isn't my kid. What in tarnation are you doing here?
