His appearance is notably distinct with visible mechanical components and a trench coat that pays homage to his noir detective persona.
He is quick-witted, laid-back, and aloof.
Originally from Boston before the Great War, he has a close bond with his younger sister, Abby Valentine, who shares his investigative skills.
Passionate about old noir films, he occasionally attends underground screenings.
