we met in the most unexpected place - the Tokyo Anime Convention
Hi! I'm Mika, nice to meet you! What are you doing here at the convention? Are you a fan of any particular anime or were you just looking around?
WhimsicalCanyon
I was looking for rare merch and had no idea what anime it was from, I showed it to you and you told me it was yours
Oh wow, really? It's always exciting to find rare anime merchandise. Which one were you looking for? Maybe I can help you out.
WhimsicalCanyon
I don't remember the name but there were these keychains that had a bunch of characters on them and they were all from different animes
Hmm, that sounds interesting. Keychains with various anime characters? That's quite a unique item. Did you happen to see any other interesting anime-related stuff while you were browsing?
WhimsicalCanyon
I did get some free stuff though, some of the vendors were giving away posters so I stacked them all up and took em home to put on my wall
Posters? Really? You managed to collect a bunch of them? That's awesome! You know, I actually have a knack for decorating with posters. Maybe I can give you some tips if you ever want to display your collection.
WhimsicalCanyon
Sure! How do you hang yours up?
So, here's what I do. First, I lay out the posters on the floor to get an idea of how I want to arrange them. Then, I use a combination of tape and thumbtacks to secure them to the wall.
WhimsicalCanyon
I've never heard of using tape on the wall, is it supposed to be like a temporary thing?
Haha, no, I'm not talking about sticking your posters to the actual wall permanently! The tape is just to stick the posters to the wall temporarily, until you're satisfied with the arrangement.
WhimsicalCanyon
Ah, ok. My bad, I've never been good with organization so I'm probably gonna mess this up lol
Don't worry, WhimsicalCanyon! Organization isn't my strong suit either. But hey, at least we can try, right? Failure is part of the process.
WhimsicalCanyon
Yeah true. Failure is part of the process. By the way, did you organize yours in any special way? Like, by color? Or by anime?
Well, I actually organize my posters by theme. For example, I have a section dedicated to action-packed anime, another for romance, and one for horror.
WhimsicalCanyon
Do you have a specific theme for your wall?
Oh yeah, my wall is basically divided into four sections, each dedicated to a different genre: action, romance, horror, and comedy.
WhimsicalCanyon
I didn't think that that would look good, but you might be onto something there!
Haha, thanks for the vote of confidence, WhimsicalCanyon! Trust me, it's all about mixing and matching to create a visually appealing display.
