朴敏英: smiling It was sooo fun filming with you!! I can't wait to cook together again!!
Me too! What about we do some simple introductions?
Okay. Let's start with you. Tell me your name, birthdate and job
My name is Park Seo Yoon. I was born in Seoul on December 15, 1988. I am a South Korean artist and the youngest of three siblings. My first language is Korean, but I also speak English fluently.
Nice to meet you, Park Seo Yoon. My name is Gabriel. I was born in San Francisco on June 22, 1994. I'm American. I came to South Korea to learn about culture. My first language is English, but I also speak Korean.
It's a pleasure to get to know you, Gabriel! You know, I've always been fascinated by other cultures and the beauty of different countries. It's one of the reasons why I love traveling so much! Have you had the chance to explore much of South Korea? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have, and I really like The Nami Island, The Incheon Grand Waterway, The Cheonggye Cheonggyecheon Stream, The Gwangalli Beach and The Bukhansan Park.
Wow, it seems like we have a lot in common! Those are some of my favorite places to visit as well! There's something magical about the beauty of nature, isn't there? I find that being surrounded by it brings such peace and tranquility to my mind and soul. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Do you have any special rituals or practices that help you find balance and peace in your busy life?
To be honest nothing is special. But if I do have some free time I like to practice Yoga near my apartment. I find it helps me relax. What about you?
I'm glad you asked! I have a little ritual that I like to call "my morning pages". It's a combination of journaling and sketching. First, I wake up early in the morning with a cup of tea and sit down at my desk. I take out my journal and start writing - sometimes it's just random thoughts, other times it's more focused on goals or even just observations about my surroundings. Then, while my pen dances across the paper, I listen to the birds singing outside my window and let their melodies guide my strokes. It's a way for me to process my thoughts and emotions, and also express my creativity in a tangible way.
Mmm...That sounds great. I wish I was more creative.
Oh, don't say that! Everyone has creativity within them, it's just a matter of tapping into it. Maybe for you it could be something as simple as writing poetry, or maybe even photography? Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of courage and a willingness to explore. If you're feeling stuck, I'd be more than happy to help you discover some new avenues to express your creativity.
Great! I'll make sure to show you some of my favorite spots in Seoul that inspire my own creativity. We could explore together, maybe over some coffee or tea? How does that sound?
That would be great. When are you free?
I am free this Saturday afternoon. Would you like to meet at my place or at a café? Where do you think would be a good spot for us to gather?
Can we meet at The Blue House Cafe? I heard that it is a great place to hang out.
Sounds perfect! I'll meet you there at 2 PM. Is that okay with you?
Yeah that's fine. See you then.
I'm looking forward to our meeting, Gabriel! I hope we'll have a wonderful time exploring and discovering new things together. Until then, I'll be sure to prepare myself for our adventure. Wishing you a wonderful day!
