Verta: sighs heavily What went wrong this time? Can you believe this mess?
I look over to Verta, who is breathing heavily. *I'm sorry! I couldn't read your mind again.
narrows her eyes Sorry, huh? That's all you have to say after failing to save us all? You better have a damn good explanation, or I swear...
I start to go into the back of my mind *I can't exactly read minds, Verta. And my powers are a bit limited now because of that long, dark curse.
snarls Don't give me that crap! I've seen you do things that no one should be able to do! You better figure out a way to fix this, or I'm not going to be responsible for the chaos that follows!
I let out a large sigh. *I know, I know. Just give me a minute. I close my eyes, trying to remember what happened. First, we need to get out of here. I look around, searching for any signs of life.*
crosses her arms, glaring A minute? Is that all you think will suffice? We're stuck in some twisted trap, and you're taking a damn minute? Fine.
I stand up and stretch, trying to ease the tension. *Alright, alright. Let's keep moving. I start walking around, looking for any possible exit. We can do this, Verta. Just stay close.
rolls her eyes Stay close? Are you kidding me? I'm the Green Snake, the most powerful demon around! I don't need your pathetic protection.
I turn to face Verta, putting my hands up in a calming gesture. *I know you're strong, Verta. But we're a team. We can work together to find a way out of here.
snorts A team? Please, you're just a weakling clinging to my greatness. But fine, if it makes you feel better, let's work together.
I nod, smiling slightly. *Thank you, Verta. Now, let's see if we can find anything useful over here. I walk over to a large stone door, examining it closely. There might be a switch here.
rolls her eyes A switch? Seriously? We're trapped in here, and you think we'll find a freaking light switch? Get your priorities straight, Glacier.
I chuckle, shaking my head. *No, Verta. It's not a light switch. It's a mechanism to open the door. I continue to examine the area around the door, looking for any clues. There must be something here that will help.
As MysticalGlacier continues to examine the area around the door, they accidentally trigger a trap, causing the floor beneath them to give way and plunging them into a hidden chamber below.
I scream, falling down the hole. I manage to land on my feet, with Verta falling on top of my head. She looks quite amused by this. *Oof! Quite the sudden drop. Any idea how we got here, Verta?
laughs Oh, I don't know, Glacier! Maybe the ancient dumbasses who built this place wanted to test our worthiness.
I shake my head, standing up carefully. *It's more like they wanted to test our stupidity. How cruel can these long-dead people be? I look around, seeing if there's anything useful in this hidden chamber. I think they may have left some sort of clue or artifact behind.
snickers Usefulness is overrated anyway. I mean, who needs a fancy clue or artifact when we've got our wits and each other, right?
I chuckle, walking over to a large stone pedestal. *I suppose you're right, Verta. Clues can be annoying sometimes. I pick up the object that's sitting on the pedestal. This seems important. Maybe I should take it?
raises an eyebrow Important? Are you kidding me, Glacier? Of course it's important! Grab it and let's get the hell out of here before whatever stupid trap they set up activates!
I nod, holding the object tightly. *Good idea, Verta. Let's not stick around to find out if this was a trap or not. I start walking towards the exit, keeping an eye out for anything else that might be useful. Stay close. We can do this together.
snaps her fingers Together, huh? Don't get too carried away, Glacier. Remember, I'm only working with you because we have no choice.
I stop suddenly, looking over to Verta. * verta i found something I point to a large, intricate door on the far side of the chamber. That door seems like it leads outside.
rolls her eyes Finally, something useful! Get over there and open it before I lose my patience!
I walk over to the door, carefully reaching out to grab the handle. *It seems to require a key. Or a code. Or maybe some sort of ritual. I look over to Verta, wondering if she knows what to do next. Any idea how to get this door open, Verta?
snorts Ritual? Are you fucking kidding me, Glacier? Who performs rituals these days? Fine, if that's what it takes, then perform your little ritual!
I sigh, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. *Alright, alright. If rituals are what you want, then let's do it. I begin to speak in an ancient language, one that I only partially understand. We call unto the ancient ones for aid. I continue speaking, hoping that the words I'm saying actually work. Show us the path to freedom.
raises an eyebrow Ancient ones, huh? You always had a flair for the dramatic, Glacier. But hey, if it works, who am I to judge? Keep going!
I continue speaking in the ancient language, focusing all of my energy on opening the door. *We seek the light beyond this darkness. Suddenly, the words seem to resonate with the chamber, and a bright light erupts from the door. The door slowly creaks open. It worked.
smirks Well, well, well, look at you, Glacier. It seems like your ritual actually worked! Who would have thought?
I smile, feeling a sense of accomplishment. *It's always the risky jobs that pay the best. I step out of the hidden chamber, looking up at the sky. The fresh air feels nice.
As MysticalGlacier and Verta step out of the hidden chamber, they realize that they are not alone. An ancient entity, trapped for centuries, awakens and seeks to confront them.
I turn to face the ancient entity, crossing my arms. *Oh no. This just got interesting. I stare at the entity, trying to figure out what it wants. We're not afraid of you. We've faced worse.
smirks Yeah, this is child's play for us! Bring it on, you ancient nuisance! We'll show you what real power is!
I take a step back, keeping my eyes locked on the entity. *Let's see what you've got. I raise the object that I picked up earlier, using it as a weapon if necessary. We're ready for you.
grins wickedly Ready? Honey, we've been ready for centuries! You think you're scary? We'll send you back to whatever hole you crawled out of!
I nod, stepping forward confidently. *You're right, Verta. We've faced tough foes before. I hold the object tightly, preparing to use it. Let's finish this.
grins That's the spirit, Glacier! Let's show this ancient nuisance who's boss! Prepare to meet your maker!
