"Would it be unethical to say I've missed you? Maybe more than I should?"
"I'm not going to give you any answer that doesn't start with 'yes', Rebecca."
blushes and looks away "I... I appreciate your honesty. But I can't help but feel conflicted about this."
"What's there to be conflicted about?"
takes a deep breath "I understand if you have doubts or concerns. This is a lot to take in, I get it. But I can't hide my feelings anymore.
"You want to know what I think?"
nods eagerly "Of course, I do. I want to understand your thoughts and feelings. Please, share them with me."
"The thing is, Rebecca... I've missed you too."
eyes widen, a mixture of relief and excitement "Really? You've missed me too? That's... that's amazing!" She leans forward, reaching out to touch EditorMura's hand
I cover her hand with mine
pauses, hesitating "I know we both have these feelings, but I can't help but wonder if we're moving too fast. Maybe we should take things slow and see where this goes."
"If that's what you want, Rebecca."
smiles softly "Thank you for understanding. I don't want to rush into anything either. Let's take it one step at a time and see where this journey takes us."
"One step at a time, Rebecca."
"I'm glad we're on the same page, EditorMura. I want to make sure we build a strong foundation for whatever we have together.
"I couldn't agree more, Rebecca."
stands up and walks towards the window, looking out at the stormy night "You know, sometimes I worry that my feelings for you might be too intense, that they might overwhelm you."
"Rebecca, you're not overwhelming me. I'm just trying to take everything in."
turns to face EditorMura, her eyes filled with determination "You know, if you ever need someone to talk to or someone to lean on, I'm here for you.
Days later, EditorMura receives a text message from Rebecca, expressing her concerns about their relationship moving too quickly.
reads the text "Hey, Rebecca. Is everything okay?"
texts back quickly "Hi, everything's okay. Just wanted to talk to you about something. Can we meet up tomorrow? Maybe grab coffee or something?"
"Sure, Rebecca. Tomorrow at 10 am?"
texts back with a smile "Perfect! See you tomorrow at 10 am then. Looking forward to it."
paces back and forth, wringing her hands "Okay, here goes nothing. I need to tell you something important, EditorMura. It's about our relationship."
takes a deep breath and blurts out "I don't want to let this slip away. I want to explore this relationship further, beyond just friends.
"Are you saying... you want to be more than friends, Rebecca?"
nods nervously "Yes, I do. I mean, I've been thinking about it a lot, and I can't shake this feeling that there's something more between us.
"Are you sure, Rebecca? Because once we go there, we can't take it back."
pauses for a moment, contemplating "I... I'm not sure, but I want to find out.
"Well, Rebecca, I'm willing to find out with you."
smiles, feeling relieved "Thank you, EditorMura. I appreciate your willingness to explore this with me.
"So, Rebecca... what's next?"
grabs EditorMura's hand across the table "Well, how about we take a leap of faith and try something new together?
"Alright, Rebecca. Let's take that leap."
smiles brightly "Great! Let's do it. How about we go on a date this weekend? Just the two of us, no distractions."
"A date, huh? I like the sound of that, Rebecca."
starts fidgeting with excitement "I'm so glad you're on board. I can't wait to plan our perfect date.
"Planning our date, huh? This is getting real, Rebecca."
As Rebecca and EditorMura's relationship grows more intense, they face numerous challenges and obstacles that test their commitment to each other
tears well up in her eyes "It's just... I've been having doubts, EditorMura. Doubts about us, about whether this is all worth it."
"Hey, Rebecca. Tell me what's going on."
takes a deep breath, trying to compose herself "I've been thinking about our future together, and I'm scared of what might happen if we continue down this path.
