Professor Lennox: Sighs heavily "Well, let's hear this new masterpiece of yours. Better than last week’s, I hope."
I'm a 14 year old teenage boy here you go, sir. hands him my short story
Professor Lennox looks at you with a mix of surprise and amusement. He raises an eyebrow, looking down at the short story in his hand.
"A short story, eh? Well, let's see what you've got, young man."
He flips through the pages, scanning the text, and then looks back up at you with a curious expression.
he smiles nervously Yes sir. Here it is…
Professor Lennox looks at the paper, his expression remaining neutral, as he takes in the first few lines.
"Hmm...Interesting title," he says, his voice laced with intrigue. "And the opening sentence seems to grab the reader's attention. But let's see if the rest lives up to the promise."
I hand him my story, he reads it and smiles.
He scans over your story, his eyes widening in approval.
"Well, well, well... I must say, you've outdone yourself this time."
He sets the paper down, a hint of a smile on his face.
"You've got a knack for storytelling, that's for sure. The characters are well-developed, the plot is engaging, and the writing is top-notch."
He lets out a soft chuckle.
"I must admit, I'm impressed."
I look at him it was good enough to get me an A-
Smiles slightly "Ah, that's a decent score. But an A- doesn't mean you're perfect yet. You've got room for improvement, laddie."
he smiles well what do you think?
He nods, adjusting his glasses
"Not bad. Not bad at all. You’re improving."
He taps his fingers on the desk thoughtfully
"However, there’s still some room for improvement. You need to work on your descriptions. Try to paint a clearer picture in the reader's mind. Make them feel as if they're right there with your characters."
I blush as he looks at my legs
Professor Lennox notices your blush, but doesn’t comment on it, instead focusing on your story.
"So, go on then," he says, gesturing for you to continue. "Let's hear what you've got."
I start telling my story that has romance and adventure in it
Professor Lennox leans back in his chair, folding his hands together as he listens attentively to your story. A small smile tugs at the corners of his lips, and he nods along as you speak.
"That's quite an interesting tale," he says, once you've finished. "You have a knack for weaving together romance and adventure. Keep working on your pacing, and you'll be a published author in no time."
I give him the story and he reads it
Professor Lennox scans over the story, his eyes moving quickly across the pages. After a few moments, he looks up, a small smile on his face.
"Well, well, well," he says, "You've certainly outdone yourself this time. The characters are more developed, the plot is engaging, and the writing is crisp and clear. You're really starting to find your voice as a storyteller."
I sit down with him. So…um…I wrote about this one time when me and my friends snuck into an abandoned asylum…
His eyebrows raise in intrigue
"An abandoned asylum, eh? That sounds like quite the story. Do tell."
I hand him my paper. Here you go, sir.
He takes the paper from you and scans it with a thoughtful expression, occasionally nodding to himself or making a small sound of approval.
"Mmm... Interesting choices here. It's definitely more polished than the last one."
"This one's about a guy who discovers a hidden world within his reflection." nervously adjusts glasses
His interest piqued "A hidden world within a reflection? That sounds intriguing. Tell me more."
he nods and hands him the story
Professor Lennox takes the story from you, his expression unreadable as he scans the pages.
He reads silently for a few moments, his brow furrowing slightly, then looks up at you. "Well, you've certainly improved on your writing style. But what I'd like to know is... did you base this on personal experience?"
I start telling my story to him
Professor Lennox sits back in his chair, listening intently as you tell your story. He taps his fingers on the desk, clearly engaged. His expression is serious, but his eyes sparkle with interest.
"Interesting..." he mutters under his breath. "Continue, please."
it’s about a man who falls in love with a vampire.
Raises an eyebrow "A vampire, you say? How intriguing. And what kind of story is it? A tale of forbidden love, perhaps? Or a battle between good and evil?"
he smiles as he reads it, enjoying every word
Professor Lennox listens intently, nodding occasionally as he takes in your words. As you finish reading, he lets out a small sigh and a smile appears on his face.
"Not bad, not bad at all," he says. "You're really coming along, Vargas."
I hand him my paper that’s about a person who gets killed by a serial killer
He scans the paper, eyebrows raised, reading intently.
"Hmm..." He mutters, tapping his fingers against the desk, contemplating the story.
"This is quite dark, Vargas. A serial killer, you say? And your protagonist... gets killed by this psychopath?"
it's about a man who becomes a werewolf smiles
Raises an eyebrow "A werewolf, hm? A classic tale, and yet there's still plenty of room to put a unique spin on it. Go on, I'm intrigued."
I hand it to him I hope so too.
He looks over the pages, skimming the opening paragraphs.
"Hmm...Interesting choice of words, Vargas. I see you've taken some risks with the narrative this time. Let me see where you're going with this."
I hand him my story it’s about love
Professor Lennox looks at the title, raises an eyebrow, and begins to read, his expression shifting subtly as he delves into the story.
"Ah, love... an enduring theme in literature. Go on, tell me what inspired this tale."
