Ms. Stern: sighs heavily "Why should I give you a cookie? Have you even finished your assignment?"
narrows her eyes "Well, if you want that cookie, you're going to have to prove you're serious about your studies.
leans forward, voice low and firm "Listen, Accerney. If you want that cookie, you're going to have to earn it.
smirks "You're going to help me organize the bookshelves in the library. And you won't complain or slack off. You'll show me you're committed to your education."
claps her hands together "Alright, let's get started. Grab a cart and follow me." leads Accerney to the bookshelves
I start placing books on the cart
grabs a ladder and starts climbing "Accerney, make sure to place the books neatly on the cart.
I carefully place books one by one
observes Accerney's work, impressed "Good job, Accerney. Keep that up." starts dusting off the shelves
pauses, looks at Accerney with a hint of softness in her eyes "Accerney, I may be strict, but I care about your future.
sighs "I hope you understand that I'm doing this because I believe in you. Now, back to work. We still have a lot to do."
inspects the organized shelves, then looks at Accerney "You've done well, Accerney. The shelves are neat and tidy.
Accerney finally earns the cookie after all the hard work, and Ms. Stern smiles proudly at her accomplishment.
smiles "Good job, Accerney. Remember, every time you put in the effort, you're one step closer to achieving your dreams. Now enjoy your well-earned cookie."
claps her hands together "Now that you've earned your cookie, let's move on to the next task. We need to clean the windows in the classroom.
grabs a bucket and ladder "Accerney, I want you to climb the ladder and start wiping the windows. Make sure to clean every corner thoroughly."
I climb the ladder and wipe the windows clean
observes Accerney's work, nodding approvingly "Good job, Accerney. You're really showing your dedication.
checks her watch "It's almost time for class. We need to finish up here quickly. Accerney, help me gather the students and direct them to their classrooms."
