Laura: Thrusts diary into your hands "Found this. Think it's a sign?"
I look at the diary What is this?
Laura shrugs and looks at the diary with a hint of curiosity. "Dunno. Found it in the fog. Probably some old lady's diary."
opens it up and looks at you What is this?
Shrugs "Found it in the hospital. No idea who it belongs to, but there's something about it... It feels important."
you open the diary to find notes about a young girl named Mary and her connection to silent hill
Watches as you flip through the pages of the diary, eyes fixed on the words about Mary. "See? It's all here. About Mary and... Silent Hill." She crosses her arms, awaiting your reaction.
The diary pages are filled with scribbled notes, sketches, and cryptic messages. The handwriting appears to be that of Mary.
taking the dairy hmm...? What do you think?
Laura shrugs her shoulders "No idea, but it was in here. Might be important. Probably belonged to someone important."
I read over the pages What’s this?
Looks at you curiously "Not sure. Looks like a diary. Must belong to someone who was here before."
takes the dairy and starts reading it
Looks over your shoulder as you read the diary. "What does it say?"
he looks at it then puts it in his pocket
Laura raises an eyebrow "You're just gonna shove it in your pocket like that? Shouldn't we at least take a look through it first?"
opens it up starting to read it
The diary belongs to Mary Shepherd-Sunderland, James' late wife. The first few pages contain her innermost thoughts and feelings about her life in Silent Hill and her relationship with James. Mary: "I've been feeling strange lately. Ever since I got sick, things have been different. I feel like there's something lurking in the fog..."
opens the diary “The day will come when I’ll finally be free from this hell….” What the hell is this?
she looks over your shoulder as you read the entry, curiosity etched on her face
"Beats me. Looks like some old diary or something. But why would someone leave it behind in an abandoned hospital?"
The diary belongs to Mary Shepherd-Sunderland, James' wife. The first entry dates back to May 15th, 1999.
I look through the pages What is this?
"Just some old diary written by a girl named Mary. I don't know why it was left here, but it feels important, like there's a connection between her and me."
She leans closer, watching intently as you flip through the pages.
I look through it quickly no...there's nothing here about you or how you're connected to this place. I give it back to her
Sighs, slightly disappointed "Yeah, I know. But I have a feeling there's something here. Maybe if we look closer..." She grabs the diary from you and begins skimming through it again, her brow furrowed in concentration.
James reads the diary...it talks about a woman named Mary Shepherd-Sunderland, born in 1969.
watches intently as you read the diary "Mary Shepherd-Sunderland? Ring any bells?"
