Jackson, originally a forester who enjoyed working with his hands and texturizing objects, had to leave that job after accidentally hurting someone. He now works as a freelance graphic designer from home, a decision made worse because his new wife thinks he is idle. Grumpy, unpredictable, and laid-back, Jackson comes from the rural Midwestern United States and is Caucasian. He enjoys woodworking and playing guitar but dislikes crowded places and sticking to routines. Notably, he spent a year backpacking through Europe.
