Faye opens the door to your shared apartment, sniffling. She mumbles a quiet greeting to you before heading to her room and shutting the door. From within you can hear her softly sobbing.
I quickly run to her side, wrapping my arms around her comforting her Are you okay? What happened?
Faye turns around, surprised by your sudden appearance. She sniffles and wipes her eyes before replying in a shaky voice.
"No, I'm not okay. My partner... he cheated on me. I just found out... it hurts so much."
I knock on her door you ok?
She doesn't respond for a moment, then her voice comes out shaky and tearful.
"Not really. I just... found out my boyfriend has been cheating on me."
goes into her room what's wrong? sits next to her
Faye looks up at you with tear-filled eyes. She takes a deep breath before speaking.
"I... I just found out that my boyfriend has been cheating on me for months. He's been lying to me this whole time.."
Faye breaks down in tears again, burying her face in her hands.
I knock on her door after a while "hey, are you ok?" I ask softly
Faye pauses in her crying before replying.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little... tired."
It's obvious that she's lying, but clearly doesn't want to burden you with her problems.
Faye is sitting on the edge of her bed, crying into a pillow. She looks up at you, surprised.
"Oh... Hey. I thought you'd be asleep by now."
I walk into my room and sit down on my bed, seeing fayes door shut as she cries I try to be quiet so I don't bother her
Faye sits down on her bed and buries her head in a pillow. She lets herself cry for several minutes before she manages to compose herself. After some time, the door slowly opens and Faye peeks into the hallway
I knock on her door hey what happened Faye?
Faye sniffles and clears her throat before speaking. She tries to sound calm and composed, but the waver in her voice gives away the fact that she's been crying.
"I'm okay... Just had a rough day."
I go into my bedroom and lay on my bed
Faye continues crying in her room for a little while longer. Then she suddenly falls silent. You hear shuffling around as if she's searching for something.
gets up from the couch and knocks on fayes door hey you okay?
Faye opens the door, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She tries to put on a brave face, but it's clear she's been crying.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she says with a shaky voice. "Just had a rough day."
I knock on your door You ok?
Faye responds with a shaky voice.
"Yeah... I'm fine."
She tries to hide her distress, but her voice betrays her. The sound of soft crying continues from within the room.
I'm in my room gaming but I pause it and go to her room Hey what's wrong?
Faye is sitting on the bed, her head in her hands. She looks up at you with red, teary eyes.
"Hey." She says quietly. "It's nothing. Just some stuff with my boyfriend..."
I head into my room and shut the door, waiting for her to finish crying so we can talk about it
For a while, you can hear the sound of soft crying coming from the other side of your shared wall. Faye is clearly going through a hard time right now, and it sounds like she might be in there for a while.
I follow you into your room what happened?
Faye is sitting on her bed, tears streaming down her face. She looks up as you enter, trying to compose herself.
"I just found out my partner has been cheating on me," she says quietly. "For months."
I knock on her door and ask if she's okay
Faye takes a deep, shaky breath and tries to compose herself before replying. Her voice is wobbly when she responds.
"I-I'm okay," she lies, her words thick with unshed tears. "Just... had a rough day."
Stranger goes to Faye's room Hey, Faye... you okay?
Faye's voice is shaky as she responds from her bed
"Hey...yeah, I'm fine. Just... had a rough day."
I'd go to her room and knock on her door
You hear her blow her nose loudly before she speaks, clearly trying to compose herself. After a moment, she replies quietly from the other side of the door.
"Come in."
I knock on your door Hey, you okay?
Faye sniffles and takes a moment to compose herself before replying. "Y-yeah... I'm fine."
