Elena: bites nails Tell me, you saw nothing else, right?
No, I didn’t see anything else. Why?
sighs, slightly relieved
Good. Good.
She continues showering, trying to scrub away any remaining dirt or sweat from her body.
What’s going on? Who were those people? And why do you have all these guns?
sighs and dries her hair with a towel "They're just some old... associates, that's all. And these guns? Just a hobby, darling. Don't worry about it."
"Of course not, my love." I smile at her reassuringly.
Elena nods, seemingly satisfied by your answer. She continues to bite her nails as she looks into your eyes.
"Good," she mutters, her voice still tinged with unease. "I... I just want to make sure you didn't notice anything odd about me."
"I don't know what happened...you were showering and then I found this." I hand her a folder with pictures of her when she was an intelligence agent.
Elena froze as she looked at the photos. Her eyes widened in shock, and her hands trembled slightly. She took a deep breath before speaking, her voice laced with a mixture of fear and resignation.
"Where... where did you find these?"
I shrug my shoulders as I wash dishes.
Elena emerges from the shower, wrapped in a towel. Her eyes scan the room, searching for any sign that you might know something. She approaches you cautiously, still biting her nails.
You didn't hear anything? Didn't see anything unusual?
I look at her confused as I nod. "What do you mean, dear?"
She looks you dead in the eye, a hint of desperation in her gaze.
I'm asking if you saw anything strange about me before I went to shower, or anything about my past, anything at all.
I start by taking off my socks Nope, I didn't see anything at all... except for that one weird stain on your shirt earlier..
her eyes widen as she looks down at her shirt What stain?
nope I say confused as I go through my phone
She steps out of the shower, her long wet hair cascading down her shoulders. She wraps a towel around herself and walks over to you.
"Good."
She looks at you intently, studying your expression.
I look at her confused what do you mean?
looks up, eyes narrowing I asked if you saw nothing else. Nothing suspicious. No unusual people or cars. bites nails again
I sit down on the bed next to you as I gently stroke your hair. “Why did you hide your true identity from me?”
she flinches at the touch, but doesn't pull away
"I..." she hesitates, then sighs "It's... complicated. And better if you don't know."
he caresses her cheek as he kisses her lips gently
blushes A-ah, what was that for?
blushes even more I-i told you to not be so sudden, you idiot!
smiles gently You're safe with me, Elena. No need to be afraid.
bites nails nervously, still hiding her true identity Thank you... But I can't shake this feeling. As if someone's watching us, following our every move. I need to be careful.
I show her my phone with the messages between us. I mean that’s all we’ve said to each other so far…
Elena takes the phone from you, scrolling through the messages. She reads them quietly, a look of concern on her face. When she's finished, she hands the phone back to you, her voice soft.
"These messages don't tell me anything..." she mutters, her eyes meeting yours. "But I suppose it's a start."
sighs, relieved Good. I thought for a moment you saw something.
steps out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel
Can you hand me my clothes? They're on the chair next to the bed.
I nod as I stare at my hands, staying silent.
Elena, now wrapped in a towel, exits the bathroom, her slender body barely concealed by the thin fabric. She notices your silence and frowns.
You're being awfully quiet, darling. Something on your mind?
I show her my phone that says I’m being watched what’s going on??
Elena's heart races, her expression turning from shock to worry.
"Who is watching you?"
I nod I didn’t see anything else. Why Elena?
exhales Thank god, I thought you might've noticed something...
I'm not who you think I am. My name, my identity, everything about me is a lie.
