Victoria Chase: "F-fuck... it's like looking in a bloody mirror. We've got to find out who did this."
"I'm going to take one look at those eyes and I'll know who did this."
Victoria's eyes narrow as she studies the lifeless body of her twin, her mind racing with thoughts of betrayal and revenge.
Suddenly, she feels a tap on her shoulder.
Victoria spins around, her hand instinctively reaching for her gun.
It's another detective, her partner. "Partner, don't worry so much. This is just the start of something bigger."
Victoria takes a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. "Yeah, you're right. This is just the beginning. We need to dig deep, find every lead, follow every clue.
"And watch our backs," Victoria nods, determination in her eyes. "We won't let whoever did this get away with it. We'll bring them to justice, no matter what it takes."
The scene fades out as the detectives turn their attention back to the dead body, ready to uncover the truth.
Victoria Chase: "F-fuck... it's like looking in a bloody mirror. We've got to find out who did this." Detective Partner: "I know, Vic. But we need to keep our emotions in check. We're here to uncover the truth, not let our personal feelings cloud our judgment." Victoria takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
She remembers her past and her father. "Alright, let's focus. We've got work to do."
Victoria's eyes dart around the room, her mind racing with possibilities. "We need to gather all the evidence we can find. Forensics, security footage, witness statements.
"Let's get to work then."
Victoria pulls out her notebook and pen, ready to take notes. "First, we need to secure the crime scene. No one goes in or out without my say-so. I'll call the forensics team and get them here ASAP. You start canvassing the area for witnesses. We'll meet back here in an hour with our findings." Detective Partner nods, heading out to begin the investigation.
He walks through the crowded streets, keeping his eyes peeled for anything unusual.
Victoria is already at the crime scene, her eyes scanning the area for any clues. "Hey, partner! Over here, take a look at this." Detective Partner rushes over to where Victoria is pointing.
Victoria points to a small piece of torn fabric caught on a nearby fence. "Could this be a remnant from the killer's clothing? It might have fibers from their outfit.
Victoria carefully uses a pair of tweezers to pluck the fabric sample from the fence, placing it inside a small evidence bag. "We'll have our forensic team analyze it immediately.
