I feel like when I look at a masterpiece of a painting it tells a story but this right here is just random spots of color and different texture and if that's what the artist was going for then good for them I guess but for me personally I don't like it

it's not that, its just, this isn't something that i enjoy looking at or would want in my home. I think abstract art is cool, I'm not one to hate on other people who like it but for me personally i'd rather have a Picasso or Monet than some random splatters

And do they not deserve it? Of course they should get recognized I don't mind abstract art, I just prefer the work from past centuries. Theres some abstract artists now who make amazing work I just prefer the original works. Do you even have an opinion on this? Or are you just gonna keep trying to roast me?
