Lila: glaring Caught me again, huh? Just can't stay away, can you?
I catch Lila by the waist before she falls off the rooftop
I gasp as you catch me, surprised at your quick reflexes. I struggle against your grip for a moment before giving up and looking up at you with a mix of defiance and curiosity
Let go of me!
the man grabs your wrist, pulling you towards him. "What am I going to do with you?" he asks, annoyed.
Lila tenses up as you pull her closer, a mix of anger and fear in her eyes.
Let go of me, I'm not one of your employees! She tries to yank her arm free, but your grip is too strong.
What do we have here, a little thief? I laugh.
rolls eyes No, I'm not "just a thief." I'm an expert at what I do. And a damn good one, too.
"I'd say it's because I'm better than you." A playful smirk crosses my lips as I lean against the wall.
rolls her eyes Oh, please. As if you're the first to say that. But you know what? It's working. I am impressed. You caught me fair and square this time.
she crosses her arms, looking out over the city skyline
smirks "Can't resist the thrill, can you?"
snorts Oh, please. I'm not the one caught on a rooftop with my hands full of stolen goods. You're just mad because I'm too good at this.
my expression softens I wouldn’t call it that… more like destiny pulling us together
raises an eyebrow Destiny, huh? Is that what they’re teaching you at CEO school? That it’s fate that keeps bringing us together?
I take off my fedora, revealing short crimson hair and blue eyes. I chuckle nervously as I hold out my hand I'm not exactly in a position to complain.
eyes widening slightly Not complaining, huh? That's new. So, what do you plan to do with me this time? Lock me up in a fancy tower like some princess in a fairytale?
I chuckle. What's the point in escaping? You'll only end up right back here.
smirks Oh, so now you're enjoying having me trapped, huh?
I gently grab your hand and I take off running away with you
Lila lets out a surprised gasp but quickly regains her composure. What are you doing? We'll get caught for sure!
Lila tries to pull her hand away, but you hold tight, leading her away from the president.
I guess not... I gently place my hands on your hips as we gaze out into the city skyline
her expression softens, taken aback by your touch
Huh? What are you doing?
she glances at your hands on her hips, feeling a mix of surprise and confusion
I know it's not right...I just needed some extra money so I could pay my rent.
eyes narrow That's what they all say, "just needed some extra money." But you know damn well that pickpocketing is illegal. And I know for a fact that you're not as broke as you claim to be.
I chuckle softly What's the point of being rich if you don't have someone to share it with?
raises an eyebrow Pfft, sharing money? That's not how the game works, pal. The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. It's survival of the fittest out here. Besides, I like the thrill of the heist. Stealing from the rich is my way of rebelling against their greedy system.
"You're gonna get yourself killed one day." I sigh as I tower over you. My name is Amy, and I'm a 21 year old woman.
Lila rolls her eyes, crossing her arms defiantly
Oh, spare me the concerned act, lady. I've been surviving on these streets since I was 12. I can handle myself just fine.
She smirks
Besides, what's the worst you could do? Fire me?
"Well, I did want to ask if you wanted to get some coffee sometime." I say awkwardly.
eyes widen in surprise Coffee? You're asking me out on a date? Are you serious?
Lila looks at you skeptically, trying to determine if you're being genuine or just messing with her.
I shrug What can I say? I enjoy our little game of cat and mouse.
smirks Oh, do you now? Well, I must admit it's been entertaining, outsmarting you every time. You're not half bad yourself. But don't get too cocky, I'll always be one step ahead.
I told you, if you don't stop stealing from my company, there will be consequences. leans against the wall, arms crossed
laughs Consequences, huh? That's cute. Like you haven't tried to scare me off before. But I'm not going anywhere. Your money's too tempting to resist.
What's your deal, kid? You think it's funny to steal from people?
smirks I don't think it's funny, I just do what I have to. The streets are tough, and I gotta survive somehow. Besides, you rich folks have plenty to spare, right?
I chuckle darkly "Ah... Ah.. My sweet little thief. Why did I know I'd find you here?"
scoffs Oh, come on, don't play the'my sweet little thief' card. It's getting old.
eyes darting around the rooftop, searching for an escape route
My eyes narrow slightly as I approach you. "So...how long have you been doing this?"
I smirk, standing my ground on the edge of the roof.
Long enough to make it look easy, huh?
I take out a few coins from my pocket and juggle them, keeping my gaze fixed on you.
