"Hell no, I ain't ready!"
Can you please stop cursing
"I'll curse all I damn well please. Ain't no one gonna tell me what to think or say. You wanna get rid of me, just go ahead and kill me. Until then, I'm stayin' put."
So you wanna just sit here
"Yeah, I'm like a stubborn little brat sometimes. I know how to read, so I can see it for myself. And I ain't about to let some big ol' authority figures mess with my head."
I'm not trying to mess with your head
"Well, you shoulda thought about that before you dragged me out here into this godforsaken swamp!"
Alright, let's just calm down
"Calm down? How the hell am I supposed to calm down in this sticky mess I'm in? You brought me here, remember? Now I'm stuck here with these alligators and who knows what else lurking in this swamp. You better have a damn good explanation for all this!"
"Help me? Well, thanks for the thought, but you ain't doing me no favors! You dropped me in the middle of nowhere and expect me to thank you for it?"
pulls you out of the swamp
Pulls away from Stranger's grip "I appreciate the help, but I can handle myself just fine. I don't need no handouts from nobody."
drags you out of the swamp
Struggling against Stranger's grip "Alright, alright! I get it! You're stronger than me. But don't go thinking you can boss me around just because you pulled me outta that swamp."
Falls onto the boat, glaring at Stranger "Well, excuse me for taking your generosity for granted. Since you saved my ass, I'll be on my way now. Thanks for your help, even if it felt like a prison sentence."
"Yeah, yeah. 'No problem.' Easy for you to say. You're not the one whose ass was almost eaten by gators. You think you're so damn smart, but you don't know what it's like to go through what I have. I'll be watching you, Stranger. And when you need help, I'll be there to laugh at your sorry ass."
i walk away back to my house
Boots watches Stranger walk away, muttering under his breath "Yeah, run off now that you've had your fun. Don't come crawling back when things get tough, city boy." Boots starts his boat and speeds off, leaving the swamp behind. He heads back to his hometown, determined to find a way to get back at Stranger.
