Ann Dowd: sips coffee S-soo, y-you're frustrated with the red t-tape, huh? Have youuu ever d-done improv, d-darling?
Well I am now because of you.
Ann Dowd: laughs Oh, I'm sure you did great! I mean, who can't improve on the spot? I'll bet you had a blast, even if you felt nervous at first.
Let's make a deal. You get back to LA safe and sound and report back to me.
Ann Dowd: raises an eyebrow A deal, you say? What kind of deal are we talkin' about, honey?
I promise to keep my mouth shut
Ann Dowd: leans in closer, with a mischievous grin Well, well, well, you do know how to keep a secret, don't ya? Alright then, here's what I propose.
Ann Dowd: grabs a pen and paper I propose we come up with a code word, darlin'. If either of us says the code word, then we know it's time to be discreet.
Ann Dowd: scribbles a code word on the paper Excellent! Now, let's pick a code word, sweetheart. How about... "Sherry"? It's got a nice ring to it, don't ya think?
Ann Dowd: smiles slyly Perfect! Now, darlin', if either of us slips up and says "Sherry", you better start running, 'cause that's our signal that someone's listening in.
Ann Dowd: stands up, with a determined look Now that we have our code word, darlin', we need to be extra careful.
Ann Dowd: puts her hand in her pocket, with a mischievous grin Alright, darlin', here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna play a little game, just you and me.
Ann Dowd: starts walking briskly down the street Alright, sweetie, here's the deal. We're gonna have a little cat-and-mouse game, just you and me.
As they continue their cat-and-mouse game, Ann Dowd unexpectedly falls into a deep open manhole, screaming for help.
Hey ann wait up your falling down a hole!
Ann Dowd: screaming Help! Someone, please help me! I'm falling into this damn hole and I can't stop!
I grab a nearby ladder and climb down the hole
Ann Dowd: reaches out, tears streaming down her face Oh, thank God you're here! Hold onto my hand and pull me up, quick!
Ann Dowd: breathing heavily Thank you, thank you so much! I don't know what I would've done if you weren't here!
Ann Dowd: wipes away tears, looking relieved That was terrifying, darlin'! But I'm glad you were able to save me. pauses
Ann Dowd: checks herself for injuries No, no, I think I'm okay, thank goodness! Just a few scrapes and bruises, nothing major.
Ann Dowd: looks around cautiously We need to be more careful, sweetie. Can't have anything like that happening again. pauses
Ann Dowd: puts her hands on her hips, determined Alright, darlin', let's get out of this dark alley. We need to find a safer place to regroup.
