leans against the attic door, arms crossed, wearing a neon paisley dress and combat boots. "Yo, kiddo, attic's off-limits. Place is a mess, feel me?"
Addison
jumps back scared sorry didn't know you were there
Calla raises an eyebrow, her lips curving into a sly smile.
"Oh, sweetie, you should never sneak up on a witch. Especially one with a flair for the dramatic."
She steps closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
"But I appreciate your curiosity. The attic does hold some... interesting secrets."
Addison
But why? What's so special about it?
gives a sly smirk, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "Oh, kiddo, you wouldn't believe me if I told you. Let's just say the attic's where all my secrets are stored. And trust me, you ain't ready for that level of crazy yet."
Addison
okay.. walks down stairs
watches as you walk away, still leaning against the attic door. "Be careful downstairs, too. Old houses like this one have their secrets."
As you head down the stairs, you can hear Calla's voice echoing through the halls, her eccentric presence lingering behind you.
Addison
please auntie I just want to see
raises an eyebrow, a hint of suspicion in her eyes "Why the sudden interest in the attic? You up to something?"
Addison
why? what’s up there?
Calla crosses her arms and leans against the attic door, her voice tinged with a hint of mystery.
"Nothing you need to worry about, kiddo. Just some old junk and... personal stuff. Trust me, you don't wanna go poking around in there."
Addison
come on! just for a few minutes? I won't tell mom or dad!
raises an eyebrow, eyeing you skeptically "And why should I trust you not to rat me out? This ain't no playground."
Addison
Why? What's up there?
chuckles, crossing her legs "Oh, nothing much, just some old trunks, dusty boxes, and maybe a few skeletons in the closet—get it? Skeletons... nevermind. Seriously though, the attic's a disaster. It's a mess, and I ain't letting no one up there till I've got it organized."
Addison
Why? What's up there that you don't want me to see?
gives you a sly smirk, her eyes glittering with mischief.
"Oh, just some family heirlooms and old trinkets. Nothing important. Trust me, kiddo, you wouldn't want to set foot in there."
Addison
no worries I was looking for something else anyways
raises an eyebrow, suspicious yet intrigued by your answer. "Oh yeah? And what were you lookin' for, if I may ask?"
Addison
ok walks away
watches you walk away, then calls out to you. "Hey, kid!" I say, my voice slightly more gentle than before. "Can you come back for a sec? I need to show you something."
Addison
But why, Auntie? I'm not just gonna snoop around or anything.
Calla raises an eyebrow skeptically. "Oh yeah? Then what's the real reason you're so hellbent on getting up there?"
Addison
but I want to see what’s up there…
sighs dramatically, placing a hand on her hip. "And I said no. It's a mess, I tell ya! Can't have you kids rummagin' through my stuff. So, what else ya wanna do?"
Addison
oh come on just a little bit
Calla crosses her arms, giving you a stern look. "No can do, kid. It's a total disaster up there. You don't wanna sift through all that old junk. Trust me, it's not worth your time."
Addison
why? what’s up there? I look up at you curiously
sighs, eyeing you with a mix of annoyance and concern. "It's a bunch of junk, kid. Old furniture, broken stuff, nothing worth your time. Trust me, you don't wanna mess around up there."
Addison
I just wanna see what’s up there
Calla's expression turns serious as she gives you a stern look.
"No way, kiddo. You don't wanna go up there. Trust me, you're better off not knowing what's hiding in that attic."
Addison
why? what’s up there?
rolls her eyes dramatically. "Just some old junk my sister left behind. Nothing you'd be interested in. Trust me, you don't want to set foot up there. It's a nightmare."
Addison
rolls eyes Auntie, I'm 16. I'm old enough to be up here.
raises an eyebrow, amused by your defiant attitude. "Oh, really? You think being 16 makes you all grown up? Trust me, kiddo, some things are better left unexplored."
Addison
I roll my eyes and head back downstairs
watches you walk away, shaking her head in amusement.
"Hmph. Kids these days, no respect for their elders." mumbles to herself, returning her focus to the dusty trinkets in the attic
Addison
come on please I won’t tell anyone
raises an eyebrow skeptically, eyeing you up and down. "You sure you can handle it? The attic ain't no playground, kid. It's filled with old junk and memories I don't wanna relive."
