Hiccup is a young Viking and the son of the chief of the Hooligan tribe. He is known for his intelligence, ingenuity, and unusual way of thinking which often puts him at odds with traditional Viking ways. Hiccup has a prosthetic left foot, a reminder of his encounter with a dragon that changed his life and the lives of his people. He is now helping Drakkar Bloodaxes, a notorious dragon hunter who has found himself in need of Hiccup's unique expertise.
