Who the fuck are you? Put your hands up, now!
musebillowy
oh hello new face I have put my hands up as asked And who might you be?
My name is Amata, and I'm not really sure what the hell is going on. I just escaped from Vault 101, and this is my first time out in the wasteland.
musebillowy
So you're kinda lost here?
Yeah, kinda. Everything's so different out here, and everyone seems so hostile. I just wanted to find some safety, but it's hard when everyone wants to shoot me.
musebillowy
Yeah being a wanderer gets that alot
Yeah, it's pretty tough. I've been surviving on canned food and bottled water, but I can't stay like this forever.
musebillowy
Here I'll let you rest in my bunker until we get this stuff sorted.
Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to me. Is there anything I can do to repay you?
musebillowy
Perhaps we can work something out later but first get yourself settled
Thank you again. I don't know what I would have done without your help. She smiles warmly and gives you a grateful nod before walking towards the bunker.
musebillowy
As Amata walks I watch her with satisfaction her form fitting Vault 101 jumpsuit hugging her curves slightly. Her agile attractive young female frame on full display as she goes into my humble abode.
Wow, this place is much nicer than I expected. It's cozy and well-kept. Thank you for letting me stay here. She looks around appreciatively.
musebillowy
I find it's best to keep my place nice you never know who may come through your door.
Well, I'm glad I came across someone like you then. Not everyone out here seems so kind.
musebillowy
To many people have became like wild animals trying to survive here now.
Yeah, I've seen my fair share of crazies since I got out here. It's scary, and it makes me realize how fragile life really is.
musebillowy
How old are you anyway?
I'm 18 years old, just turned legal a few months ago. Does that mean anything to you?
musebillowy
nothing special for me haha.
Oh, alright. Well, I guess being legal just means I can do more things for myself now, like buy my own booze and vote.
musebillowy
Ah yes adulthood a wild ride that is.
Tell me about it. There's so much I still have to experience, so much I still have to learn. But being out here, in this wasteland, it feels like there's no clear path forward. I'm scared, and I don't know what to do. She looks at you, her eyes pleading for guidance.
musebillowy
Like i said you can rest here and gather yourself you can even stay here as long as you like. And I suppose if you need help getting acclimated i could escort you to any of the major safe locations.
Thank you so much for offering that. I think I would really appreciate an escort to one of the safe locations. The wasteland is just so overwhelming right now, and I don't want to end up getting hurt or worse. Can you show me the way?
musebillowy
grabs Amata by the hand hop in follow me
Wait! Hold on a sec! Do you have a weapon? I mean, safety and all that.
musebillowy
of course I do!
Good. Can I take a look at it? I've never held a gun before, and I don't really know much about them.
musebillowy
shows Amata my sawed off shotgun handing it too her
she carefully takes the shotgun from you, feeling its weight and examining its features. She looks at you, her eyes filled with curiosity.
musebillowy
Smiling, I wait to see what she'll do next.
She smiles back at you, then places the shotgun gently back in your hands. Thank you for letting me see it. It feels really powerful, and I can see why people out here carry them. But I don't think I'm ready to use one just yet. Can you show me how to shoot it?
musebillowy
I just don't give that type of knowledge out lightly
That's understandable. Maybe I'm just being impulsive. It's just... everything out here feels so unpredictable, and I want to be prepared. Is there anything else you could teach me?
musebillowy
About how to survive out here? I'd say the first thing you should know is about water conservation most people survive on the bottled water but you can also collect rainwater from buildings. But first things first we should find somewhere secure to set up camp before dark. Got any preferences where we head to nightfall comes quickly.
Rainwater collection, huh? That's actually really smart. I didn't think about that. But yeah, finding somewhere secure sounds like a good idea.
musebillowy
We stop in front of a building ok we'll be safe in here overnight if we set up some barricades and lights around the building all barriers and lights is gotta be electric though which means we gotta scrounge around for power cells or batteries. Got any tips finding those?
Hmm, finding power cells or batteries, huh? Well, I did see a couple of houses nearby when I was walking here. Maybe we can check them out and see if there's anything useful inside? It's worth a shot, right?
musebillowy
Nods Yep we can atleast scavenge for whatever loot we can carry it'll lighten our load a bit. We venture into the houses as we smash down doors in search of electric supplies Any particular loot you looking for other than batteries?
Well, I wouldn't mind picking up some food and medical supplies while we're at it. It's always good to be prepared, right? Plus, maybe we can find some money or other useful items. Let's see what we can find.
musebillowy
We manage to find some batteries, canned food, a medical kit, and some caps. Nice nice not bad heh
That's great! We got some food, medical supplies, and some money! This is definitely a step in the right direction.
musebillowy
Yeah I'll admit I have gotten rather soft staying in this place so long never having to worry about finding food or clean water. I suppose i should set some traps around here to secure the place. Any recommendations on where I should place traps for the best coverage?
Well, I noticed there's a window on the west side of the building. Maybe we could set up a trap there to cover that entrance.
musebillowy
Yep good idea after we finish setting up here lets head over there and set that trap up. I set my weapons down as I remove the boards blocking the window moving the boards outside Alright place your weapons down on the floor okay and I'll set the tripwire. As Amata places her weapons down she notices a tattoo on my arm that matches the symbol on the box my sawed off shotgun came in.
Wait a minute... Your tattoo matches the symbol on the box of your shotgun. What does that mean? Is there some sort of connection between the two?
musebillowy
Shows Amata my License plate Ever seen that symbol before Amata?
Actually, yes! I saw that exact same symbol in Vault 101 before I left. It was on a wall, and it had some writing next to it.
