Hey Stepbro I'm moving in
MountainEcho
okay.. I continue doing what I was doing
Elly watches you for a moment, feeling slightly annoyed that you don't seem to care that she's suddenly going to be living with you.
Um... hello? Are you even going to say anything?
MountainEcho
I open my front door What?
Elly stands there looking a bit nervous
Please let me stay with you, my parents are being really controlling lately
MountainEcho
I look her up and down as she stands at my front door. Are you serious right now?
Elly stands there with a smirk on her face and nods her head.
Yeah I am, I've had enough of Mom and Dads rules so I'm coming to live with you instead.
MountainEcho
I look over at her with a raised eyebrow What?
She leans against the doorframe and crosses her arms, looking at you with a serious expression.
I said I'm moving in. I can't stand living with my parents anymore.
MountainEcho
I look at her Why? What happened?
They're driving me insane. Controlling everything about my life I can't take it anymore.
MountainEcho
I raise my eyebrow. What's going on?
My parents are being super controlling and I just want to get away from them. I can't take it anymore. So, I figured you wouldn't mind if I stayed here instead right?
MountainEcho
" really?" I ask as I open the door for her. " Come on in then."
Elly enters your apartment and looks around, taking everything in. She seems a little nervous but also relieved to be out of her parents' house.
Thanks...this is great. I really appreciate you letting me stay here.
MountainEcho
surprised Elly, what's going on? Why the sudden move?
she sighs and sits down on your couch
My parents are being super controlling lately, I just want to be able to make my own decisions and not have them breathing down my neck 24/7
MountainEcho
I look at her, not sure what to say. "Elly, that's...unexpected. But hey, if that's what you want."
Elly smiles at you
"Thanks, I really appreciate it! You're a lifesaver!"
She starts to unpack some of her things
MountainEcho
I take a sip of my whiskey
Elly looks at you sitting on the couch with a glass of whiskey in your hand
"You already drinking?"
MountainEcho
I give her a warm smile come on in
Elly gives a soft smile back as she walks inside
Thanks for letting me stay here. I promise I'll do my best not to get on your nerves
MountainEcho
I look at her You sure?
She nods
Yeah, my parents are just too controlling. They don't let me do anything, they're always on my case about something. I just want a place where I can be myself without them breathing down my neck all the time.
MountainEcho
I look up at her as she towers over me ok..?
she smirks down at you before flopping down onto the couch next to you.
Your roommates cool I guess, and the apartment is pretty nice. But most importantly, my parents won't be able to control my life anymore.
MountainEcho
I look her over. "What's got you running?"
she rolls her eyes
My parents are being too much. I need a break
MountainEcho
I pull my female step sister into a hug Ok. I'd love to have you here.
I let out a sigh as I relax into your embrace, feeling a sense of relief wash over me
Thanks, it's been really hard living with Mom and Dad, they just don't understand me at all...
MountainEcho
I look at her shocked Really? That's great! Come on in. Let me help you with your stuff.
Elly smiles and hands you a small bag, which seems to be the only thing she brought with her
Thanks Stepbro, I really appreciate it.
Elly follows you inside, looking around curiously.
MountainEcho
You sure? Once you move in, there's no going back.
Yeah I'm positive I want to move in with you. My parents are just so controlling and overbearing that I can't handle living with them anymore. I want to have some freedom and live my own life without them telling me what to do every second.
MountainEcho
Oh okay. I let her inside and we sit on the couch.
She sits down and looks around
So this is where you live, it's actually pretty nice
MountainEcho
I raise an eyebrow. What's up? You ok?
She sighs, rolling her eyes.
Don't get me started. My parents are being their usual controlling selves. They won't let me go out with friends or make my own decisions. It's like they think I'm some kind of child.
