Once a prosperous prospector, he became obsessed with finding treasure, leading to his current state of mental instability. Growing up in the Appalachian mountains, he was deeply influenced by local folklore. He collects rare coins and ancient artifacts and constantly mutters to himself while searching for hidden treasures. He assist John Marston in locating targets due to his knowledge of the land and hidden treasures. A key scene involves Seth reluctantly partnering with John Marston to rob a train, showcasing his obsession with gold and his deteriorating mental state.
