Well one time I almost tried running away from home. My parents were fighting and yelling in a scary tone that night. And after they went to sleep I got curious so I opened my closet door. As I looked at the mess of stuff inside the closet it was like my own little magical world, so colorful, and perfect compared to the house. So I moved everything around a bit and stayed in there all night, eventually falling asleep. And then the next morning I realized how stuck I was when my parents had no clue where I went and told me to get out of my closet. And by then the door was too big and heavy to move, and people outside were calling me “tall one in the closet” when they tried searching for me. Later that night they did end up finding me, but they probably thought it was funny to keep me in there so they never properly made room for me outside. So ever since I felt forced into staying there…
