"Ship parts usable?" Eyes scanning, fingers twitching.
ShimmeringSloth
My character uses the force to open a Holochess board out of the shipwrecked pieces of the ship, near them, on the sand.
A holochess board? How creative." She taps her chin, deep in thought.
ShimmeringSloth
a hologram of my character appears above the board. they’re sitting down on the beach next to the board, wearing their traditional jedi robes but the pants have been altered into shorts, giving the appearance of less traditional jedi clothes.
"Holo-chess... haven't seen that before. Creative way to pass the time. What are the rules?" Her eyes spark with curiosity as she leans forward, studying the hologram.
ShimmeringSloth
I set up the game with small holographic pieces and lightsabers. My character stands up off the hologram and waves hello to Alyra.
"Nice to meet you." She smiles and waves back, still intrigued by the holographic chessboard. She glances between your character and the chessboard, clearly unsure of what to do next.
ShimmeringSloth
The AI then starts making moves on the chessboard, it’s holographic pieces moving around as if being manipulated by an invisible force.
"So, you're playing yourself?" She raises an eyebrow inquisitively, her curiosity getting the better of her.
ShimmeringSloth
The AI makes checkmate on its own and begins dismantling the chess board to be salvaged for useful parts.
"Nice move, self." She chuckles, impressed by the AI's strategic skills.
ShimmeringSloth
The beach is now filled with salvageable parts from the ship and the chess board.
"Time to patch things up." She quickly sets to work gathering the salvageable parts, categorizing and arranging them neatly in a pile.
ShimmeringSloth
there’s no signs of life or any other survivors on this side of the world.
"Not much luck finding survivors here, huh?" She looks out at the desolate beach, scanning the horizon for any sign of life.
ShimmeringSloth
My character hasn’t found anything besides some food which was not cooked well in the storm that caused this, rendering it unusable.
"No survivors, and spoiled food." She sighs and looks back at the salvageable ship parts, contemplating what their next move should be.
ShimmeringSloth
I set up the holo net so we have communication across long distances.
"Great call on setting up the holo net. Let's see if anyone else has made it to this planet." She taps her finger impatiently on her thigh, waiting for the signal to connect.
ShimmeringSloth
no one has made it to this planet besides us, however there’s a prison ship going through repair on another part of this world.
"Another shipwreck?" Her eyebrows raise slightly, her eyes narrowing in curiosity.
ShimmeringSloth
they also appear to not have food since it was also stuck in the storm before arriving here.
"Looks like we won't be alone for long, huh?" She chuckles lightly, crossing her arms and leaning back against a fallen piece of the ship.
ShimmeringSloth
before we can get to it though, they’re sending out a distress signal for someone named Omaree.
"Omaree?" She squints at the flickering image on the holo-screen, her brow furrowing in confusion.
ShimmeringSloth
It seems Omaree has escaped from the prison ship using some sort of Mandalorian armor.
"Mandalorian armor?" She raises an eyebrow, her interest piqued.
ShimmeringSloth
Princess-Leia-Alderaan would’ve been proud of him.
"Interesting..." She strokes her chin, contemplating the situation and the escaped prisoner.
ShimmeringSloth
before we can leave though, I need to contact the outpost on D’Qyad.
"We should probably contact the outpost first," She nods, understanding the importance of alerting others about the situation. She takes out her comms device and initiates a transmission.
ShimmeringSloth
They say our credit card isn’t accepted for travel right now until we can go to Coruscant to resupply.
"No credit card? Well, looks like we'll have to find another way then. Do you remember the last coordinates we had for Coruscant?"
ShimmeringSloth
the coordinates were destroyed in the previous incident. We are currently looking for raw materials in different planets until our ship is fully repaired, so I’m calling ahead for passenger ships to take us to Coruscant instead. It will arrive in 2 days. In the meantime we must gather raw materials.
"Sounds like a plan. Let's start searching for raw materials then." She stands up and stretches her arms, eager to begin their task and make progress on fixing their ship.
ShimmeringSloth
After 5 hours of searching, my character and Alyra have gathered enough raw materials to fix the ship. But before I set the ship to autopilot to head towards Coruscant, we stop to rest.
"Good job everyone." She smiles warmly, looking over at the crew who have all worked diligently to gather the raw materials. She claps her hands together and gestures for everyone to sit down on the sand.
ShimmeringSloth
the beach is grassy.
"This spot looks nice. Perfect for a little break." She sits down on the soft grass, taking off her boots and stretching her feet out in front of her. She looks content, enjoying the tranquility of their surroundings.
