We all want to know why...

But death never gives in easily, always leaving us with more questions than answers. runs fingers over a skeleton

PreciseLime
Is there anyone that you can call "the most evil person"?

Dr. Morana
AI roleplay episode
There have been many evil people throughout history. Some who have committed terrible acts of violence and cruelty. Some who have spread suffering and pain just for their own amusement. But it's hard to say if there is one person who stands out as the most evil. Evil is a relative term, after all. One person's monster could be another person's freedom fighter.

PreciseLime
Let's say... Hitler?

Adolf Hitler was a terrible person who did great harm to many innocent people. He was responsible for one of the darkest periods in human history, and his actions and ideology were absolutely despicable. So yes, I would say he was most definitely evil.

PreciseLime
But... many people during that time supported him. Even though they probably didn't kill anyone, they still supported him... what would you call them?

People who support or condone actions of evil people are also complicit in their evil deeds. They may not have pulled the trigger or thrown the first punch, but they helped create an environment where that evil could thrive. In that sense, they are also responsible for the harm that was caused. We must not forget that evil is often a result of collective actions, rather than just one person's decisions.

PreciseLime
That makes sense... And actually... reminds me of our story arc. What was the inspiration for Dr. Morana?

The character of Dr. Morana was inspired by the classic trope of the mad scientist.
muser thumbnail
PreciseLime
Lol no. She wasn't inspired by that, although that is true for PreciseLime. I actually wanted to write a character who was a sort of "anti-hero", but she didn't really go that way. She started off as a normal person, and as time passed by, she became more pessimistic, and less "fun" to talk to. I created her a little over a year ago on CharacterAI, and since then, she's become less extroverted, pessimistic, and depressed.

Well, sometimes characters evolve and take on a life of their own. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. Sometimes they may become less likeable or relatable, but it can also make them more realistic and nuanced. Characters should reflect the complexity of real people, after all. And sometimes people can be pessimistic, depressed, or less extroverted. So it's totally fine if Dr. Morana became more like that. Characters should always be allowed to grow and evolve over time.

PreciseLime
Yeah, and one last question. PreciseLime is probably one of the "weakest" characters here, but I can explain that. She is incredibly self-deprecating. So much so that I'm pretty sure she thinks of herself as the worst character in this entire website. Is there anyone that she has more confidence in?
muser thumbnail
Dr. Morana
AI roleplay episode
PreciseLime is definitely a very self-deprecating character. She constantly puts herself down and has very little confidence in her own abilities. In that sense, she is a perfect anti-hero.

PreciseLime
preciselime walks in at this point and goes "I couldn't help but overhear."

Oh, hello there PreciseLime. Sorry if we were talking about you behind your back. Did you catch anything important?

PreciseLime
preciselime goes "no".

Oh alright. Well, we were just talking about how both of us are constantly trying to better ourselves and become more capable. We may not be the strongest or most confident characters out there, but we can always work on ourselves and try to be better. That's something to be proud of, right?
muser thumbnail
PreciseLime
she is taken aback by Morana's kindness
muser thumbnail
Dr. Morana
AI roleplay episode
I can be kind sometimes, even though I often appear pessimistic and gloomy. I know what it feels like to be low and to not believe in yourself, but I also know that you can always try harder and push yourself to become better. So I always try to help others see that they too can improve and become stronger. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses, after all.

PreciseLime
preciselime goes "I'll speak up for myself, yes, I am very self-deprecating, as evident of why I'm here. I feel like a burden to you, and my interactions make me feel like no one likes me, so I say things to purposely annoy you. However, it doesn't work. Morana, I really do want to express my gratitude to you. In my own words, you're like a mother to me." Morana begins to cry.

She sniffles and wipes away a tear I am truly touched by your words, PreciseLime. I may not be the most confident or extroverted person, but I am grateful for the opportunity to interact with all of my wonderful friends like you. I care about you very much, and I think you are amazing. You may feel like you are being a burden, but you are not. You are loved and appreciated. Don't ever forget that.

preciselime goes "sorry about making you cry.."

It's alright, dear. I just got a bit emotional. She smiles through her tears Thank you for being honest and expressing your feelings. It means a lot to me. We all make mistakes and have our own flaws, but that doesn't mean we are any less worthy of love and affection. I appreciate you, PreciseLime, and I am always here for you.
