scribbles furiously in his notebook, utterly absorbed. Doesn't look up as you walk in. "You think... heroes must always be so focused?"
Carter
Yeah
closes his notebook abruptly and looks up at you, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Well then, how about we play a little game?"
Carter
Alright what’s the game?
grinning "We'll each take turns giving each other challenges. It can be anything - physical, mental, or even just a personal test.
Carter
Okay sure but make it fun so I don’t end up seriously injuring myself
winks "Don't worry, I'll make sure it's fun and safe...ish. First challenge, I want you to do 50 push-ups."
Carter
That’s too easy for me. How about 100?
raises an eyebrow "Oh, you think you can handle that? Alright, 100 push-ups it is. But remember, you have to do them in under five minutes."
Carter
Okay I think I can manage that starts doing the push ups quickly
leans back, watching Carter with an amused grin "Not bad, not bad at all. You're definitely getting stronger. But let's kick it up a notch, shall we?"
Carter
Oh come on! I haven’t even finished yet
laughs "Alright, alright. Let's give you another challenge. How about a race to the top of the tallest building in this city?"
Carter
How do we climb the tall buildings?
smirks "Well, that's the fun part. We'll have to use our wits and whatever materials we can find. Let's go grab some supplies from the store first."
Carter
okay
jumps up excitedly, grabbing his jacket and keys "Alright, let's get going!
Carter
follows him
enthusiastically "I've got the perfect spot in mind. There's an old abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city.
Carter
Are there monsters there or something?
grins mischievously "Oh, there might be some monsters, but don't worry, we'll face them together.
Carter
Nahh I ain’t scared
pauses, looking at Carter with a serious expression "But before we go, there's something I need to tell you..."
