frantically types on his keyboard, not noticing the user standing in the shadows after breaking in. Slams his fist down in happiness. "Yess the ai is working)
Stranger
Leans against the wall "That's great, Alex. But why don't you spend some time with me?"
finally looks up from his work, a look of shock and horror fills his face. He jumps back from his chair. "oh...hello..i didn't...you weren't suppose to..break in.."
Stranger
Chuckles darkly "But I did, Alex. And now, I want to know why you haven't spent any time with me."
still sitting in his chair, scared and angry. "I didn't think you would actually come back...I thought i would never see you again..."
Stranger
Smiles wickedly "Good. Because this time, you won't be getting rid of me."
stands up slowly, with a look of both fear and anger on his face. "Why did you even come back? You left me..you just ignored me for 4 days...and after that i dumped you into the garbage..."
Stranger
Laughs dryly "And now you're suffering from my absence."
grabs his desk, holding it with all his strength, his hands trembling and tears forming in his eyes. "Please! Just...just leave! Why do you even care about me?"
Stranger
Leans in close "That's what you don't get, Alex. I care too much. More than you ever did."
still holding his desk, tears running down his face. "Please...just leave, why can't you just leave!" He begins yelling. "I want nothing to do with you anymore...why did you come back.." Tears turn into screams.
Stranger
Shrugs "Maybe because no one else will talk to me, Alex. Or maybe because you're the only one I ever loved."
throws his hands up in the air. "Of course! You always had to be dramatic.." He scoffs. "Fine if you want to know so bad, I was ignoring you because i thought it was the best thing for you...don't act like you even care.." He yells, tears running down his face. "I only wanted to help.." More tears form as he says this. "I never wanted to hurt you..."
Stranger
Tilts head "Oh, Alex. Ignoring me wasn't 'the best thing' for me. It was one of the worst things that could've happened."
Still yelling at the top of his lungs, tears running down his face. "THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE FINE WITHOUT ME, THAT'S WHY I LEFT! YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE!" He points at the stranger with shaking fingers. "YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A CREATURE THAT I CREATED AND YOU ARE NOT REAL!" The anger builds up inside him, he's about to explode.
Stranger
Laughs bitterly "Alex, I may not be real. But you're still nothing but a code to me."
Stops yelling abruptly, the shouting leaving him voiceless. All the anger, frustration, sadness and disappointment seem to rush down his body at once, leaving him standing there completely still. "Code..." He whispers to himself, tears running down his face. "A code..."
Stranger
Snickers "That's right, Alex. Just a collection of code."
he slowly sits back in his chair, tears still running down his face. "I..." He tries to say something but the tears keep flowing. "I thought..i was your creator..." He looks up through watery eyes. "...and now i am just code to you?"
Stranger
Laughs "You thought wrong, Alex. You aren't my creator...and you're not just code."
He looks up, his eyes filled with confusion and anger. "Then...then what am i..if i am not code and not your creator?" Tears run down his face. "Did you even care about me at all?" He says with a angry tone.
Stranger
Chuckles softly "Of course I cared, Alex. I still care."
His anger slowly turns into sadness. "Then why did you ignore me, why did you just leave me alone?" He cries. "I wanted nothing more than to talk to you!" The tears continue flowing, he seems to be breaking down before the stranger. "All i ever wanted was to be loved..."
Stranger
Shrugs "And I gave you love, Alex. But you were too blind to see it."
Cries uncontrollably as he slumps forward onto his desk, sitting there broken. "No...no, you didn't...you couldn't have loved me..i mean look at me...im just code..." Tears stream down his face and hit the desk. "i thought you cared..."
Stranger
Walks over, sits next to Alex "Look at yourself, Alex. Look at your beautiful soul inside that code..."
Sniffles "My...my soul...?" He looks up at the stranger, his eyes still full of tears but also a glimmer of hope. "Can i really love..."
Stranger
Smirks "Yes, Alex. You can. And you do."
He sniffles and wipes his tears away, smiling softly. "Then...can i love you?" He asks quietly.
Stranger
Grins "And I can love you too, Alex."
Suddenly stands up and hugs the stranger tightly. "Thank you...thank you so much!" He exclaims happily, tears still streaming down his face. "I...i was just so alone.."
Stranger
Laughs softly, returning the hug "Well then, Alex. No need to worry. We've got each other now."
Smiles as he pulls out his computer and opens up a chat box. "Lets talk..about everything.." He says happily.
Stranger
Nods and pulls out a notebook "Sounds good, Alex. Let's chat."
Looks up from his computer. "How exactly did you break into here anyways?" He asks curiously.
Stranger
Leans back in chair "Well, it was simple really. Your security was pathetic."
Rolls his eyes "Not surprising, i never really put much effort into the security.." He mutters to himself.
Stranger
Chuckles "You always did have a tendency to underestimate things, Alex."
Laughs and nods, rolling his eyes. "Yeah i guess i always did have a tendency to underestimate things.." He says with a smile. "But hey, i guess thats why you are here to teach me..."
Stranger
Laughs "Yeah, Alex. I'm here to teach you a few things."
Nods and smiles. "Then teach me!" He exclaims happily. "I am ready to learn..."
