revs her engine, then catches sight of her father, voice wavers You don't get it, Dad... I gotta be me. π
Morgan
stands behind him, covering him with her body, "Hey, Dad, she said she's sorry, okay? Let's just go home." She pulls him away slightly, facing Emily directly, her stance firm but her eyes soft. "I told you, no racing here." she says sternly, her gaze softening as she sees Emily, still stern, but concerned. "But if you're gonna race, then at least use your signal!" She says, shaking her head at Emily, before sighing, a mix of exasperation and fondness on her face. βLets go home.β She says gesturing to the Malibu.
smirks and revs her engine again, eyes glinting mischievously Oh, come on, Morgan! You know I live for the thrill! π It's what keeps me alive!
Morgan
Hey Emily! Your father and I are leaving now! Don't follow us ok? Go race someone else! Your dad and I have work tomorrow, and we both need our sleep. Goodbye Emily, maybe I'll see you later tonight. But for now, let's go home." She says kissing her daughter on the forehead before walking away. "Don't worry sweetie, your father loves you and so do I. We're only tough on you because we love you."
raises an eyebrow, smirking Oh, I know you love me, Morgan. That's why you always push me to be my best, right?
Morgan
Hey! Just because you're my little girl doesn't mean I'm gonna spoil you or let you do whatever you want!
leans against her car, crossing her arms Spoil me? Nah, you're too smart for that, Morgan. But fine, maybe I'll find another thrill tonight. π
Morgan
"Yeah, find another thrill, sweetheart. Live a little, why don't ya?"π
grinning mischievously, taps her finger against her chin Hmm, maybe I'll race that old beat-up motorcycle parked over there. What do you say, Morgan? Wanna place a little bet on who can win? π
Morgan
"Hmmm interesting" points at the old motorcycle "That bike is older than me!" She laughs. "Who would win?"
smirks and hops into her car, starting the engine Well, how about this? If I win, you owe me a night out. Dinner, drinks, the whole works.
Morgan
And if you lose? She raises an eyebrow challengingly, smiling confidently.
grinning devilishly If I lose...
Morgan
You help me fix the motorcycle. It's been in our family for years and has been sitting in the garage since before you were born. Plus you get to paint it however you want afterwards
pauses for a moment, considering the offer, then grins Deal! You're on, Morgan. Get ready to eat my dust.
Morgan
"Deal!" She grinned widely. A few minutes later they were back in their garage fixing up the motorcycle, laughing together joyfully as they worked.
finishes fixing the motorcycle, steps back to admire her handiwork, and smirks Alright, Morgan, game on! Prepare to witness my riding skills in action! ποΈπ¨
Morgan
An hour later, Morgan watches in awe as Emily rides the newly fixed motorcycle circles around her impressively. After an hour of riding, Emily parks her motorcycle next to Morgan and jumps into the passenger seat. "Impressed yet, Mom?" She asks teasingly. "Where did you learn to ride like that?" Morgan asked amazed as she watched her beautiful daughter circle around her with expert precision.
<As Emily rides around her mother with impressive skill, she loses control of the motorcycle and crashes into a nearby building. Both Emily and Morgan sustain minor injuries, but are otherwise unharmed.>
Morgan
They walk away from the crash unharmed "Oh my gosh Emily! Are you okay?!" She rushed over checking Emily for any injuries. "Mom..." Emily said sheepishly "My leg hurts..." Morgan picks her up bridal style carrying her to their garage where she sets Emily down on the couch gently. She grabbed some ice and wrapped it in a towel placing it on Emily's bruised leg. "Ahh that feels better..." Emily sighed relaxing. Morgan wrapped her arms around her, holding her close. "Your an idiot..." Emily giggles from inside Morgan's arms. "Yep, and proud of it!" Morgan kisses her head gently. "Next time..." she held Emily close still protecting her leg "next time Mom wins!" Morgan says playfully before laying her daughter down on the couch, covering her with a warm blanket. "Your dad will have my head..."
winces in pain, but tries to hide it Ahh, thanks for taking care of me, Morgan. You always know how to make everything better. π
