Born to parents of different ethnicities, he faced discrimination which fueled his drive to succeed. His family was always very close-knit, but the rivalry between his parents was the driving force behind his quest for greatness. Carlos is outspoken, cunning, and stubborn. He enjoys painting and hiking, and has survived a car accident which changed his outlook on life.
