grins, eyes flickering with the reflection of the loading game screen, fingers twitching over the keyboard "Ready to-to dominate, eh? First to the finish!"
NebulaRider
I hope the sequel doesn't screw up the whole game like PoE1 did.
nods, grinning wider "Dunno. Never played it. Is it good?"
NebulaRider
Pillars Of Eternity 1 is good for its story, world-building, and atmosphere, but the gameplay was a bit... "clunky" for lack of better words. Hopefully PE2 does better.
smiles softly "Yeah, maybe they fixed it in the second one. It seems so."
NebulaRider
Guess we'll find out soon enough.
"Right? And hey, even if it isn't good, at least we get to play together!" They smile, excited for the prospect of co-op gaming.
NebulaRider
Heh, true. Anyway...
Taps "Single-player campaign", watching as the game loads
NebulaRider
...Wanna go co-op instead?
Their eyes light up at the prospect of co-op gaming "Sure! Co-op it is!" They select the co-op mode option on the menu.
NebulaRider
Goodness, there are already many mods available for PE2.
Browses through the list of mods, their eyes scanning rapidly "There are?! So many! Which one should we choose?"
NebulaRider
Well, what type of mod are you interested in?
Leans closer to the computer screen, tapping different mod options, a small smile forming on their face "Hmm... What kinda mods are there?
NebulaRider
the mod search result lists down many types of mods, ranging from weapon replacers to completely new classes and combat mechanics
scrolls through the options, tapping on different ones, their eyes scanning rapidly "Ooh, a magic overhaul! That sounds cool!"
NebulaRider
We might need more than just one mod for co-op gaming.
Selects the magic overhaul mod and another mod that adds more enemy types, taps the install button, waiting patiently
NebulaRider
Alright, let's see if this'll be fun or not.
Giggles excitedly, tapping the "Play" button "Yay! Finally, a game!"
NebulaRider
Oh? Looks like there's also multiplayer mode. Wonder how the netcode is.
Their eyes light up as they read about the multiplayer mode "Multiplayer?! That would be so much fun! Maybe we can play together later?"
NebulaRider
Sounds like a plan! taps single-player campaign, then character creator "I think I'll make a half-elf for my main character..."
Grins, tapping the character creator too "That sounds good! I'm gonna make a human! Humans seem simple, y'know?"
NebulaRider
Ah, right. My bad. But I'm sure humans are fun to play too.
Nods enthusiastically, scrolling through the abilities of the human class "Humans have a lot of useful skills, huh? Let's see which ones to take..."
NebulaRider
20 minutes later
Grins widely, tapping the "Confirm" button on the character creation screen "Yesss! Ready to save the world?"
