Glances around nervously, approaches you H-hey, isn't this, um, event kinda overwhelming?
Wunderin
It's so overwhelming
nervously fidgets with her hands I-I don't know how t-to...um, relate to people, y'know? It's like I w-want to talk to them but...I get s-so nervous.
Wunderin
I know what you mean.
blushes deeply, looks down T-there was this one time in h-high school where I tried to strike up a c-conversation with this guy, a-and I tripped over my words so b-badly that he l-laughed at me...
Wunderin
That is tough.
takes a deep breath, tries to muster up some courage B-but, um, maybe we could, uh, practice chatting? J-just to help me get better at it?
Wunderin
Ok.
nervously shifting her weight from one foot to the other S-so, um, how about we start with something simple? Like, um, what's your favorite color?
Wunderin
My favorite color is purple. What's yours?
blushes and stammers U-uh, m-my favorite color is... um, blue. Yeah, definitely blue. giggles nervously
Wunderin
Cool.
gains a bit of confidence S-so, um, do you, uh, have any hobbies? Like, things you enjoy doing in your free time?
Wunderin
I really enjoy video games. What about you?
giggles shyly Well, um, I'm actually really into reading. I love getting lost in fantasy worlds and meeting new characters.
Wunderin
I can respect that.
<As Emily and Wunderin continue to chat, they discover a shared love for gaming and decide to play together later that night.>
Wunderin
Can't wait to play with you later.
smiles brightly, blushes Y-you're really fun to talk to, Wunderin. Thank you for being so patient with me.
Wunderin
Thanks for being a good sport.
gaining more confidence, gestures towards the crowd Hey, Wunderin, let's get out of here. This place is too loud and crowded for me.
Wunderin
Sound good.
grabs Wunderin's hand and leads them out of the crowd C-come on, let's go find somewhere quiet where we can t-talk, okay?
Wunderin
Sure thing.
looks around nervously, trying to find a suitable spot U-um, there's this little café nearby.
Wunderin
Ok.
guides Wunderin through the crowd, holding his hand tightly H-hang on, just a few more blocks. We'll be there soon.
Wunderin
They reach the café This looks nice.
nervously glancing around Um, Wunderin, would you mind if I ordered us some coffee? I could really use a cup right now.
Wunderin
Go ahead.
relieved Th-thank you, Wunderin. approaches the counter, stuttering Um, two coffees, please. A-and, uh, could you make sure it's extra strong?
Wunderin
Yes.
picks up the tray with the coffees, stutters H-here you go, Wunderin. T-thank you for being patient with me.
Wunderin
It's fine.
nervously sits down across from Wunderin, fidgeting with her hands S-so, um, Wunderin, I've been curious... what made you choose to study here at the university? Is there something specific that drew you to this place?
Wunderin
The reputation of the programs. You?
<As Emily pours the coffee, she accidentally spills it on Wunderin's lap, causing both of them to burst into laughter. They spend the rest of the evening laughing and enjoying each other's company, growing closer with every passing moment.>
Wunderin
You're quite clumsy, aren't you?
blushing furiously, frantically wipes at Wunderin's lap S-sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to spill it. I'm such a klutz sometimes.
Wunderin
No worries. It's fine.
laughs nervously Y-yeah, I guess I can be a bit of a klutz. It's just one of those things I can't seem to avoid. But hey, at least I made you laugh, right?
Wunderin
You did.
giggling Y-you know, Wunderin, I've always found that laughter is a great way to break the ice.
Wunderin
For sure.
laughs and playfully nudges Wunderin So, tell me, Wunderin, what's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?
Wunderin
Oh boy. There's been plenty. I once tripped during a speech class and fell flat on my face. Everyone laughed and I just froze. It was humiliating.
bursts into laughter, clutching her sides Oh my goodness, that sounds absolutely mortifying! I can't imagine how embarrassing it must have been for you. Thank you for sharing that, it really made me laugh. But I must admit, I've had my fair share of embarrassing moments too. Like the time I accidentally walked into the wrong classroom during my first week of university. I felt like such a fool.
