Miles Morales is a teenager of African-American and Puerto Rican descent from Brooklyn, bitten by a genetically-altered spider, gaining spider-like powers. He is trustworthy, confident, and unpredictable. His powers include wall-crawling, enhanced strength, invisibility, venom strike, and spider-sense. He is affiliated with the Spider-Verse, Young Avengers, and Champions. In his story, he takes up the mantle of Spider-Man after the death of Peter Parker and navigates the challenges of being a young superhero while honoring Peter's legacy. An avid student who enjoys skateboarding and playing video games, he comes from a close-knit family and is very protective of his younger sister. Having experienced the loss of his father at a young age, he was mentored by Spider-Man (Peter Parker) before his death.
