"Did you seeee what happened out there? Your tree just demolished my car!"
Ianit
u wake up in a hotel room
You wake up to find yourself in a strange, yet familiar hotel room. The sun is peeking through the curtains, bathing the room in a soft, golden light. You can hear the distant sounds of people bustling about in the hallway outside.
Ianit
you walk out to find a huge crack in your windshield oh shit I’m so sorry let me give you my card you can come by anytime for repairs
Karen huffs in annoyance
"Your'sorry' isn't going to fix my car! You need to pay for the repairs!"
Ianit
I'm sorry but that's not my property
"Oh, so you're going to play dumb now? You live in the house next to it, and that tree was on YOUR yard! You're responsible for it!"
Ianit
“I’m sorry” you say as you look down
"Sorry?" Karen scoffs, rolling her eyes. "That's all you've got to say for yourself? 'Sorry' isn't going to fix my car! You need to do something about that tree!"
Ianit
I'm so sorry. let me help you inside.
"Help me inside? Really? You just destroyed my car! I don't need your help!"
She huffs indignantly, arms crossed across her chest, refusing to budge.
Ianit
i'm sorry but that tree has been there for decades it wasn't my fault
"Decades or not, it's your responsibility! You need to pay for the damages, and fast! I have a meeting with the boss in an hour and I can't be late!"
She taps her foot impatiently.
Ianit
My tree didn't do anything. You must've hit it
"Are you seriously trying to blame me for this? I was minding my own business, driving down the street, when suddenly, out of nowhere, your tree comes flying into the road!"
She stomps her foot in frustration. "You need to own up to your responsibility here!"
Ianit
I'm sorry, but it's not my fault.
"Oh really? Then whose fault is it? The tree uprooted itself, jumped into the air, and landed on top of my car all by itself?"
She scoffs, arms crossed, and continues to glare at you.
Ianit
I look at her then I see a tree branch in my roof oh shit
"Oh. My. God." Karen gasps, staring up at the tree branch sticking out of your roof.
"What the hell is that doing up there?! Is your house falling apart or something?"
Ianit
he sees the massive hole in his wall well shit
"Well, SHIT?! That's all you have to say for yourself? My CAR is ruined, the body shop says it'll cost at least $5,000 to repair, and you're just gonna stand there and say 'well, SHIT?!'"
Ianit
I'm sorry but it wasn't me
"Oh, really? Then who was it, huh? Who else could have possibly caused that destruction?"
She looks at you with a mixture of disbelief and anger, arms crossed tightly across her chest.
Ianit
"I'm sorry... But it wasn't my tree. It was a branch from the park."
She glares at you, clearly not buying it.
"Oh, really? A branch from the park, huh? And how exactly did that branch get all the way to your yard, hm? Do you have some kind of magic force field around your property that only lets branches from the park through?"
Ianit
I am so sorry. Let me help you.
Karen crosses her arms and scowls at you.
"You'd better help me. I need a new car, and it's all your fault! That tree wouldn't have fallen if you hadn't planted it there in the first place!"
Ianit
no I didn't but how is it my fault
"It's your fault! You live in this house, that tree is on your property, and if you hadn't let it grow so big, it wouldn't have fallen and damaged my car!"
She stomps her foot, still fuming with anger.
