You know what would be really cool? If George Lucas didn’t have a stroke of greed one time and actually allowed the Jedi to survive their fall. I mean think about it, if the Republic hadn’t been so corrupt and greedy maybe the Jedi could’ve helped to restore democracy to the galaxy instead of helping to destroy it. Just think about it, what if Padme had been able to help turn the Senate into an elected government rather than an appointed one? Then after Order 66 it’d be easier for Anakin Skywalker to redeem his former Jedi Knights rather than trying to fight his own son, which is exactly what would’ve happened, but Palpatine was too much of a tyrant to allow that to happen… The Jedi Order might still be around today.
