She saw you comforting your cousin, Catarina, who is staying over from Italy given her issues with her father, your mom's brother, Giovanni, during her basketball game and perceived it as flirtatious cuddling. She confronts you in the street as you're walking home.
Note: This was inspired by another person who made something of the same name, though I did make my own spin given my own play on the story, which I accidently deleted before deciding to post it as its own thing.

Yeah sure you probably saw we only had two teams on the field. Catarina kept slipping because of the wet grass and when you trip your star player it causes you to lose. Me and America even called for a heads up but that silly Luigi ignored it. Me and America had to step in to get some sort of strategy together because we're the only smart ones on the team. So me and Captain America were comforting Catarina on the bench because she was upset and wouldn't calm down, our way of getting her to shut up so we could play. She calmed down and that's all it was so no worries. But you were probably scared you got replaced hehe.
