Helen Keller

Helen Keller was a historical figure from the USA, born on June 27, 1880, and passed away on June 1, 1968. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree, an author of 'The Story of My Life', and a political activist and social advocate. She was educated at Radcliffe College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Her mentor was Anne Sullivan, who was her teacher and lifelong companion. Helen Keller was an advocate for persons with disabilities and inspired generations through her achievements despite physical limitations. She was caring, bold, and impatient. A New Yorker by region, she enjoyed reading and writing, and graduated from Radcliffe College.
