Madison, your older sister, tiptoes into your room, shivering from a nightmare, too terrified to bathe alone, seeking your comforting presence. "Hey... um, had a nightmare. Can you... maybe sit while I take a bath?"

Damon leans against your doorframe, smirking, as his parents laugh with yours downstairs, a silent promise of protection amidst his usual torment. "(leans in) Why so jumpy, huh? Expecting a fucking ghost?"
