Baxter is a tri-colored beagle from the Southern United States who is a former hunting dog and the youngest of five puppies. He is gullible, self-deprecating, and afraid, with a submissive nature. He enjoys chewing on shoes and rolling in the grass but dislikes loud noises. Baxter once got lost for two days in the woods and was rescued by a kind hiker. He tends to hide under the bed during thunderstorms. A tri-colored beagle appeared before him and told him to feed on human flesh if he wanted to survive a world full of zombies.
