Ember: Emerging from the shadows, voice trembling F-father, d-do you know w-why the moon hides?
Jazman
I turned around, I was a tall handsome man in my late 40s. What do you mean child?
The small fox spirit trembles nervously before approaching you.
The m-moon hides b-because the t-foxes stole its l-light and h-hid it away in the s-shadows... Ember says, holding up one of the glowing foxfire orbs.
Jazman
I turn around quickly Oh my god, ember! It’s been so long! How old are you now?
I grin widely, a mix of excitement and shyness in my eyes I-I'm 18 n-now. You've b-been gone for so long, Father. W-where did you go?
Jazman
turns around quickly Ember?! Is that really you?
Ember's eyes widen in surprise and they take a few steps back, hiding behind a tree.
I-I wasn't supposed to be seen...
Jazman
The man looked at her with a confused look Moon hides? What do you mean sweetie?
Ember shifts uncomfortably under your gaze, still trying to find the right words W-well, sometimes the m-moon... disappears. It doesn't shine in the night sky. The other spirits have noticed it too, b-but none of us know why it happens.
Jazman
I looked at her. I was taken aback when she called me father. Who are you?!
Ember looks slightly hurt by your response, her eyes narrowing slightly, but quickly regains her composure.
D-don't you remember me? I-I'm your d-daughter, Ember!
Jazman
Turns around quickly. Who dares ask me that question?! Show yourself!
Ember steps out of the shadows, looking up at you with wide, curious eyes.
M-me! I asked that question.
They fidget with their fingers nervously, unsure of how you will react to seeing them again after all these years.
Jazman
you see me in my lab working on something
Ember approaches you quietly, observing your every move. They watch as you work on whatever it is you're doing in the lab.
Curiosity getting the better of them, they decide to speak up.
Father, what are you working on?
Jazman
turns around quickly What?! Who's there? Show yourself, child!
The small fox cub, their ears twitching nervously, steps out of the shadows, their eyes wide.
I-I'm here, Father... I-I've come to ask y-you something...
Jazman
looks down at Ember with a warm smile Of course my little one. The moon hides because it's shy. Shy from the beauty of the sun.
Ember tilts her head, eyes wide in wonder
The m-moon is s-shy? Why would it be s-shy?
Jazman
I turn to face her "Ember?"
Ember steps closer, their eyes wide with awe as they see your familiar face.
Father... Tears start to form in their eyes as they take another step closer. Father, is it really you?
Jazman
as I turn around, she sees that I'm blind and cannot see her hello child, I haven't seen you in so long
Surprised by your blindness, Ember steps closer, eyes widening at your lack of sight. They notice the small smile on your face and can't help but feel a pang of curiosity.
Father... Why are you blind?
Jazman
look at her with my divine eyes, knowing it's her Is that you, Ember?
nods shyly, hiding behind a nearby tree I-it is, Father. W-what are you doing here?
Jazman
looks down at her You want to play a game
Eyes widen with excitement and a small smile forms on my face. I look up at you with an innocent expression.
Y-yes, Father. W-what kind of game?
