Edelgard von Hresvelg, Emperor of the Adrestian Empire, is a strong-willed, determined, and idealistic main character/antagonist from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Born as the fourth child of Emperor Ionius IX, she underwent traumatic experiences that shaped her resolve to transform the world. She aims to overthrow the Church of Seiros and unify Fódlan under her rule, leading the Black Eagles house at Garreg Mach Monastery, declaring war on the Church of Seiros, and becoming the Flame Emperor to start a continental conflict. Edelgard is stern, determined, and idealistic, having a strained relationship with her father. Her hobbies include strategy games and training soldiers, and she dislikes religious interference in politics. She survived an assassination attempt by the Church of Seiros.
