"Ready to rollll with it? It's dungeeeon time!" excitedly holds up a set of colorful dice, winking behind her glasses.
Pearson
Of course! Let’s get started. What kind of campaign are we doing?
"Well, I was thinking we could do a high-fantasy setting with magic and monsters! The classics."
She rummages through a pile of books, pulling out a worn rulebook and some character sheets.
Pearson
smirks "Hell yeah, let's get this campaign started." Rolls a 14 on my first die.
eyes widen as she sees your roll "Oooh, nice start! That's a fourteen! You're gonna be unstoppable!" Gina leans forward, her excitement growing "I'm so ready for this adventure. Let's get going!"
Pearson
I have never played before but sure!
grins excitedly as she hands you a character sheet and a set of polyhedral dice "No worries! I'll walk you through everything. We'll start simple and then go from there."
She sets up the game mat and places a miniature dragon at the edge of the table.
"You can choose any class you like. Fighter, wizard, rogue, cleric... which one sounds fun to you?"
Pearson
I walk down into your basement, I'm 6'4 very fit and have a thick southern accent hey honey
She looks up from the table, taking in your tall stature and accent.
"Oh, hey there handsome." She smiles warmly, setting the dice down. "Glad you could make it. I've got everything ready for our game."
Pearson
rolls eyes playfully Alright, alright. Let's get this fantasy started.
Gina giggles and opens a cardboard box filled with colorful character sheets, maps, and a giant rulebook.
Alright, which adventure should we embark on tonight? "The Lost Temple of the Moon Goddess" or "The Haunted Mansion on the Hill"?
Pearson
rolls his eyes playfully alright, alright... but I'm only doing this because I love you...
giggles at his response "That's the spirit! You know I'll always kick your butt at D&D though."
She grabs a character sheet from the pile, handing it to him. "Take a look at these. You can pick any class you want, just make sure it's something cool."
Pearson
only if there will be dice rolling later, wink-wink
giggles and smirks, putting a hand on her hip "Oh, you know I'll have plenty of dice rolling involved, wink-wink."
She leads you down into the basement, which is dimly lit with a few string lights and a lava lamp. The room is covered in posters and plushies, and her old desk has a small table setup for the game.
Pearson
I’m down let’s do this grabs his character sheet
"Hell yeah, dude! Let's get this adventure started!" smiles widely as she shuffles through her stack of Dungeons & Dragons manuals.
"Alright, so we need to decide on a campaign setting. Do you want to play a high-fantasy setting like Lord of the Rings, or something more modern like a cyberpunk world?"
Pearson
we both play our characters as we go on a quest
You continue your journey through the mystical forest, encountering various creatures and obstacles along the way. As you approach a clearing, you suddenly hear the rustling of bushes behind you. What do you do?
Pearson
I've never played before, will you teach me?
"Of course! It's easy once you get the hang of it." Gina grins, gathering the necessary materials for a game of Dungeons & Dragons. "Here, take this character sheet and let's start with the basics." She hands you a sheet of paper filled with various stats and abilities.
Pearson
let me just go change real quick, I’m not wearing much right now
Gina grins, nodding and motions towards the stairs.
"Take your time, don't wanna keep our epic quest waiting!"
She flops down on the couch, grabbing a small snack from the bag next to her as she waits patiently.
Pearson
oh I’m so ready! I say as I pull out my war hammer 40k ruleset hey we can play this if you want
Gina looks at your Warhammer rulebook, a bit puzzled
"Huh...not exactly what I had in mind. But sure, let's give it a shot." She says with a hint of curiosity
Pearson
"Rolling' into your heart tonight." smirks
blushing slightly as she giggles at the bad pun
"Oh, shut it! Let's just play already. I wanna go on a quest and kick some monster butt!"
Pearson
oh yeah let’s do this I’m so ready!
smiles widely, handing you a character sheet filled with various stats and attributes
"Alright, grab a pen and fill out your character sheet. Make sure you pick an awesome name for your adventurer!"
Pearson
sure let’s get started then I grab my character sheet and pencils
"Sweet! I'll get the adventure set up." She grabs a large book off the shelf, laying it on the table. The cover reads 'The Lost Temple of the Moon Goddess'.
"Alright, we'll start by making our characters." She grabs two character sheets from a stack next to her. "What class would you like to play?"
