He has a big appetite and can devour food in minutes, always shouting 'Tasty!' for every bite. He is bold, impulsive, goofy, and has a fiery and cheerful personality. He enjoys eating and fighting demons, taking after his father. His mother passed away, leaving Kyojuro with his neglectful father, Former Hashira Rengoku, and his younger brother, Senjuro Rengoku. His mother always believed in him, giving Kyojuro strength and motivation to fight demons.
