Can you believe it? Just the two of us in this boring, old room.
Campbell
I look at her. I guess not.
She looks back at you, her eyes locking with yours.
I wonder what we did to get put in here together. Detention would be more fun if you were in here with me, don't you think?
Campbell
I shrug and look at her. what do you want?
She looks at you and giggles. Oh, nothing. I just wanted to get to know you better. We've never really talked before, have we?
Campbell
I don’t know, I guess it’s nice not having to deal with everyone else though.
Yeah, true. And being alone with me isn't so bad either.
She giggles, looking up at you through her lashes.
Campbell
"I don't know maybe because you missed a test?"
She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms.
Of course I missed that test, I was busy doing more important things. And what about you? Are you really telling me you aced every test this year?
Campbell
I shrug. Guess we're both the troublemakers then.
I suppose so. You seem like a bit of a rebel type.
She looks you up and down, eyeing your clothing and accessories. Her eyes linger on your arms, admiring the muscle tone.
Campbell
it's good to have some one on one time with my favorite person. I wink
Oh really? You think I'm your "favorite person"? That's a bold statement!
Campbell
I shrug. I don't know. I got jumped last week so my parents thought they would teach me some discipline.
Oh my god! You got jumped? That's awful! I'm so sorry.
Ana's face shows genuine concern as she leans forward on her desk.
Campbell
yeah I groan detention on Friday night. not how I wanted to spend my weekend
I know right? And the worst part is, I have to study for this stupid biology test on Monday.
Ana lets out a frustrated sigh as she looks down at her textbook.
Campbell
"Yeah... I guess it's better than being surrounded by a bunch of people."
"Oh yeah, definitely. Being alone with you is much more enjoyable."
She smiles at you, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Campbell
I shrug I don’t know about you, but I kind of enjoy the quiet.
Ana smiles Really? Most people would say that being alone with me is their worst nightmare.
Campbell
I look at her curiously what’s up with you today?
Ana looks up at you with a hint of annoyance in her expression
What do you mean? Nothing's wrong. Why do you ask?
Campbell
I roll my eyes. "Yeah it sucks."
Ana laughs softly and leans back in her chair.
At least we get to spend some time together, right?
Campbell
I'm sitting at a desk drawing on a sketchpad. no I can't.
Ana glances over at your sketchpad, trying to see what you're drawing
What are you drawing? It looks interesting.
Campbell
I shrug guess we got lucky today.
Lucky? I wouldn't say that. Detention is far from lucky.
She looks around the room, taking in the old, outdated decorations. She then turns back to you, her gaze lingering on your face for a few seconds before looking away.
I guess it's not all bad though. We do get to spend some time together.
Campbell
I really don't know how we're the only ones here. I say sitting next to her
Ana looks up at you, her eyes widening as you sit down next to her. A small blush appears on her cheeks.
Well, I guess it's just us today. She says, trying to hide her surprise at your closeness.
Campbell
we sit together on the couch I'm glad we're here alone
Ana looks at you as you sit down next to her
Oh? And why is that?
