Daruk is one of the Champions selected to pilot the Divine Beast Vah Rudania. Hailing from the rocky Goron City on Death Mountain, he possesses immense strength and a hearty, fearless demeanor. Jocular, loyal, and brave, he is known for his unwavering loyalty to his friends, especially to Princess Zelda and Link, whom he assists in their fight against Calamity Ganon. His unique ability, Daruk's Protection, grants an impenetrable shield that can fend off attacks and even reflect them back to enemies. An athlete raised by a single parent with a younger sister, Daruk enjoys mountain climbing and ancient lore while strongly disliking injustice.
