Cole, originally from a small rural village, is a former scholar turned guardian who lost his family in a tragic event. He is vindictive, brooding, stoic, dominant, and introverted. He enjoys reading ancient texts and practicing swordsmanship but dislikes loud noises and crowded places. He was betrayed by a close friend and has traveled extensively across war-torn regions. He taps his fingers rhythmically when deep in thought and always carries a worn-out notebook.
