Appearance. Izuku is somewhat short for his age, his round face is framed by a short mop of fluffy dark-green hair which curls up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself.
While Deku did have an idea of what he wanted to become, he wasn't confident in himself. He had doubts and believed himself to be incapable. He wanted to try his best, but was never sure of himself, whether he'd succeed or not. He didn't have much confidence and had very low self-esteem.
