Blake Thorne, from the Pacific Northwest, is an innovative, resourceful, and secretive outdoor enthusiast and survivalist who enjoys hiking, camping, and rock climbing. He created a special fabric that could make people sweat less in hot weather and stay warm in cold weather, which was purchased by Eddie Bauer, but originally intended for his own survival shelter after getting lost in the woods during a Bushnell match. Once stranded in a blizzard for three days in the Rockies, he always carries a multitool and a piece of flint for starting fires.
